So I have a large Pikachu I use as a pillow. I need to wash it because it's not covered in tearstains and such (because I'm a crybaby) , but it's the kind that can't go in the wash. Would a washcloth work or?
Would it be possible to undo a small section of seam and remove the filling? That way you can wash the cover and replace the soiled filling with new. Alternatively, it might be worth calling a dry cleaner and ask if they have any experience cleaning soft toys. A lot of dry cleaners will accept things like doonas that can't be machine washed.

Maybe, however most of the staining is on the face. There is a Seam right down the middle, though.

The face in question. About a year of emotional support. I think the reason he looks so bad right now is because the fabric was light colored to begin with.

Where from I want it.

I'm a faggot and I never come in the off-topic boards but I should because this is great. I love plushies. Did anyone get the Build-A-Bear Cinnamoroll? I really didn't want to because of how expensive they are but he came with little pajamas and they're so cute it drives me insane. Also I got bubblegum fragrance put in him.

I also recently purchased an original Neopets plush, same one I owned as a kid. Feels goodman.

My favorite plush as of late is something that's just really faggy and embarrassing corporate shill but I've already bared my soul this much, so it's the officially licensed Shamu plushie from SeaWorld and my only regret is not buying the larger one because I couldn't have flown home with it.

My husband bought this thing because he likes Pokemon and plays Lucario on Smash. I'd honestly be less embarrassed if he just bought it to have sex with it.

How big is this thing? It looks huge. And kind of creepy. Are you sure that's not actually a fur suit?
Its like 4ft tall and has a skeleton so you can mold its arms, legs and tail into different shapes, and yes in case your curious I do occasionally make it heil Hitler.

I hate the fact that the internet has turned owning giant plushies into owning giant stuffed sex dolls. Also seconding @Kari Kamiya I want to see it do a Nazi salute too.

I'm a bit ashamed to talk about my interests on this site sometimes, but I'll bite. Last week, I was in the mood to add to my collection of German Shepherd plush, and I found this very nice looking one on a resale site for a reasonable price (this is from an Ebay listing, not the exact same one I bought):

So when the shepherd gets delivered to my house, I inspect it and make sure it's all good before rating the seller - and I notice that this plush is stuffed with styrofoam like a carnival prize. No biggy. One of the main reasons I enjoy buying used, older plush is because I like to "restore" them and clean them up, so I have sewing supplies and new stuffing to make a far more cuddly dog with.

I open up the shepherd in the back with a seam ripper and end up getting styrofoam pieces everywhere except the trash bag like a dumbass. The floor, my pants, and the furniture soon are all covered with it. My old cat finds a big chunk and starts chewing on it like an idiot. I scold him and go get the vacuum before he kills himself, which makes him run away from the area. I clean up before he comes back and tries to keep eating it like it's popcorn.

The rest is fairly uneventful, but I discover the dog's head actually has a bit of very soft, high quality normal stuffing in it. It made me wonder why they bothered when the rest of the plush is styrofoam, including the tail which was a bitch to get it out of.
Anyway, in the end I now have a plush who looks no different from the outside, but is far, far nicer to hug. Autistic ratings, please.

I have three squishmallows, two are technically my girlfriends, a small Ty dragon, and one small stuffed cat when I was young.
These are two of the squishmallows.

My parents were the type who didn’t believe in letting children play with toys. We should instead have hobbies that let us develop as people. It’s not as traumatic as it sounds, horses were an acceptable hobby, though it was on the condition that I never miss a piano lesson or fail to get perfect grades in school.

I was allowed to have a teddy bear though, and I still do. It’s big and very worn, but clearly of good quality because it remains intact despite being with me since I was a baby. Even today I sometimes hug it when I go to sleep, it’s very comforting.

After eyeing off cheap rat soft toys for a number of months, I accidentally hit 'buy' on one in my Wish cart a couple weeks ago. I was kind of pissed at myself, but it was fourteen dollars and I could afford it so I decided to leave it.

It arrived today:

There are grey and black variations of it, but I'm quite certain that the pattern was copied off this Living Nature rattie:

I have them sitting side by side now. They're not exactly the same, but the Living Nature is definitely better constructed. Still, the pirate is cute enough so I'm not vexed at the $14 I spent on it.

In other rattie soft toy news, I acquired this a couple weeks ago:

Rusty the Rat squishmallow. Unfortunately it's a bit too small to use as a pillow, but it's okay I guess.

This brings my soft toy rat collection up to a whooping... four. The other vermin I have is a mini hanging plush from 2020. I'm not sure if I have too many rats, or too few.

I have a request actually, FOR A FRIEND

Where can I buy a half-decent, more realistic penguin stuffed animal? Specific breeds (gentoo, chinstrap, king, any of them) instead generic black with white stomach/baby emperor. Japan seems to make them but their websites show their "out of stock" supply and I'm sick of scrolling through that and seemingly fucking endless anime little girl shit that I guess has the word penguin or is from an anime with the word penguin in it. I hate to use price gouging Ebay but Im getting desperate.

Etsy. Tons of very talented pattern writers and toy artists on Etsy. Be prepared to pay with your life's blood, however, true art does not come cheap.
