The best youtube ads are the a.i. porn game ones lol

i was trying to watch one of my favorate audiophile youtubers only to get an Ad for tampons that fit all sizes with obese black women then i got a kroger ad that for some reason became a regular video so each time i clicked it the Ad loops this is unbearable im installing invidious
interesting on what references the algorithm decided that...

It's not even just the content of the advertisements that makes them so utterly awful, it's the sheer quantity of ads and the high chance of the ads just being completely unskippable that make them hot garbage. The site is practically unusable on video game consoles. I get like two advertisements back-to-back at the beginning, middle, and end of videos and it makes using the platform a test of my patience. Might as well just fucking watch it on my phone with NewPipe or on my computer with an ad-blocker.

They screw over both the people watching videos and the people making them, and then wonder why more people have started using ad-blockers. What a fucking joke.

If you're on Android use the NewPipe app. ReVanced was taken down because in its early stages it had "youtube" in the name of the app so Alphabet sued them. No ads, works just the same.

If you want to Cast to a castable device, TV, or Chromecast, download "Web Video Caster". It works with any website that has media on it. It loads looks at the site, grabs all video or audio media, you select the file from the website, then hit cast. Works for youtube, 123movies, etc.
If you have a smart TV with a store such as a Samsung or LG that locks into only using official apps from their store, you can get the receiver app on the TV's store. Runs on my machine.

There's no reason in 2006+18 you should be watching ads on youtube. If you're on a PC and don't know how to pirate/stream properly- look at my guide:

Go forth and do a fuckin' sping dash.

I don't get any ads on my phone, but there is a little news feed on the side and the "stories" it gives me aren't much different from advertisements. Now, I've been watching a ton of Frasier lately on my TV. It's not connected to my phone in any way, but my phone still somehow knows to pollute the news feed with all these articles about Frasier, despite the fact that I haven't done any web searches related to it. Disturbing.
