If your on android there are plenty of ways to view YouTube with out ads, just look for clients on f-droid or GitHub. Newpipe with sponsor block is my go too, and you can always user a browser like Firefox or Brave to watch without ads as well. I also recommend Freetube for desktop, you can import all your subscriptions with these apps and some of them will also do things to protect you from Google collecting data about you. So unless you want to like or comment on videos, there is almost no reason to be paying for YouTube premium.

Thanks. Desktop/laptop had ad blockers, but watched YT more on my phone. I finally caved after youtube kept adding more and more ads and got premium. Total extortion IMO. Gonna set this up before my free month expires. I can afford premium, but fuck you YT for making the site insufferable without it on mobile.
