Honestly, Tom is right about content creation, but for the wrong reasons.

1. Tom is talking about 2016 YT (shocker), which was Absolutely a circlejerk, ESPECIALLY the commentary sphere.

I think Tom doesn't remember the time when the proto Commentary Community got started by play the algorithm. In one of the iterations of the algorithm YouTube would recommend video based on how similar things where so there was a group of Youtubers who would pass around scripts/video ideas/targets. It's why would get 50 similar video about the same topic but slightly changed and all about the same length. This just ended up with people circle jerking the top creators to be let into the Know and pulling anyone down so they wouldn't have to share videos.

From what I remember Joon is a rather lefty guy that I remember disliking in the past, but now even he is talking about KF as if it's a staple of society. Maybe it's just a fluke, or maybe the tide is turning hard, as I remember Joon wouldn't even say "rape" in fear of being demonetized before.

For all the negatives penguinz0 has (terminally fence sitting, very safe opinions, the overly long verbal diarrhea that is his cussing), he is mostly genuine in my opinion. Tom cannot do that and expect to have success while doing it for some reasons:

- He is a jew, and does whatever he can to make more money. That includes his failed branching to IRL content, outsourcing a lot of the work that goes into making his content. His streams are basically him reading pre-written drama summaries (you can guess who wrote it, hint: not himself), signalboosting his drama buddies by watching their videos (vods for his secondary channel). This is what is causing his content to become sloppier by the day.
- The quoted comment is also a part of it: His channels cucks to the algorithm whenever it gives more money (again, jew), but there is a bigger picture of him betraying his image of "not like other commentary channels", but he is always on the safer side of things, and if it ever gets brought up, it is not his fault, its because of le evil youtube (even when hundreds of other channels do not care at all). The real reason is that he doesnt want to eat the loss that is having a video demonetized when you outsourced most of it. If youtube demonetizes a video, he loses money for the script he didnt write and the video he didnt edit.
- And for the one thing he cannot fix, as much as he wants to: He is just not an interesting person. His opinions, views and personality are as deep as a puddle. All the opinions he holds are incredibly simple, and its clear he never gave any critical thought to the things he believes. When you watch him without a script it becomes clear how generic of an upbringing he had. He never had to engage critically with something, so hearing him talk about nuanced topics is the same as asking a kid what they think about it. Some examples:

1. "Advice for depressed zoomers" is him just regurgitating the "go to the gym bro believe it".
2. "Talking with an addict from my chat" which not even getting into the fact that he is giving attention to an egirl attention whore, his "advice" to her is "just stop using crack, its bad for you bro"
3. All his interactions with other youtubers, specially tiny, which makes it clear that the only thing he brings to any group dynamic is making edgy references and smoking (because it is so cool smoking guys!)

So tom ends up being just another dude that was at the right place at the right time algorithm wise, but anything else he does to grow his channel does not work out, since he lacks the talent for it.
