Okay, after watching both John's stream and Augie's stream, I gotta say that Tech's video was actually kind of ass,
at least in the realm of arguing the points about ZeRo. The humor within the video was great, don't get me wrong - the street interviews with random hobos about the age of consent and morbid obesity were fucking hilarious - but in terms of addressing people's concerns with Tech defending ZeRo, he didn't properly address shit.
The entire section on John, while mostly good for an EXPOSED video on the Goon Squad, was horrible. One of the first criticisms Tech levied against John was that he used the Oxford Dictionary definition of pedophilia instead of the Merriam-Webster definition (????). Tech also completely misconstrued John's argument of "ZeRo shouldn't be welcomed back into the community" into "ZeRo should be terminated by YouTube," and so Tech tried to score a gotcha on John by taking a section of Nick DeOrio's unreleased video on the Onision documentary in which John says Onision shouldn't be deplatformed over allegations without a conviction, and went on to essentially say "Oh, you want ZeRo deplatformed? Why not Onision?

" He's literally digging through fucking
unreleased videos to score "he's a hypocrite" points against someone who isn't buying the "ZeRo was self-sabotaging when he confessed" story (and he's doing so incorrectly!). This all, of course, is when he isn't using Pieman and Dream as a shield for ZeRo - once again, great for an exposed video, not good if you're trying to assuage people's concerns over an alleged pedophile.
Augie, as mentioned above, made a bigass Google doc after watching Tech's video three or four times (according to Augie). He goes through and explains the cases against Red Kiwiz, Mini Ladd, and ZeRo, before going into detail about Zaptie (timestamped embed below, there's also timestamps for the rest of the stream in the comments by Sleepy Cerberus):
I won't personally speak on if Zaptie/Bigby is a nonce, but Augie does do a pretty good job explaining why everyone was flipping out about the comparison / "muh nuance" when Tech's video first dropped. I mean, the accuser, the hosts of Hot Wet Soup that brought attention to the story, and of course Zaptie himself, are all of the opinion that Zaptie isn't a pedophile - can't really say the same for the ZeRo situation. I'd recommend watching the relevant sections of the stream, but I wouldn't be surprised if I missed something in all this autism.
Though if I did miss something, then Technicals must have too, because his best response to Augie's stream was:

"lol augie's rarted because he... took notes?"
Also, the irony of Tech saying, "at least everyone else watched the vid" when if Tech had
watched the stream he would have heard Augie say he watched Tech's video
multiple times, is just *chef's kiss*.

And apparently there's something about Augie dodging another debate with Technicals? If that's true I can't really blame Augie, his last debate with Tech was awful lmfao
But still, notice that the entirety of Tech's arguments aren't explicitly pro-ZeRo - they're anti-other commentators. Tech, instead of disproving or addressing the points others have made about his defense of a pedophile, is going after the character of his critics. The best/worst part: it's kind of working? There's clearly been a massive buildup of animosity towards the Goon Squad for YouTubers like Ghost Gum to randomly show up in the comments of Tech's video, expressing that they enjoyed it. But Tech is allowing for the release of all this animosity
while simultaneously defending a fucking pedophile. DeOrio, Augie, et al are worthy of criticism, but why in the hell is the first person to personify this general hatred of the group a fucking pedo-defender!?
Three whole months for this!?
