Definitely had to have been ban evasion. The same thing happened to me before, I had a account that was banned for a BS reason and a year later I appealed, was unabanned for a whole month until I was banned again for "ban evasion" and haven't been able to recover it since. It's pretty infuriating and I actaully do feel bad for augie here, don't think he will be able to get unbanned unless he has a direct line to Musk

Fuck marketing and SEO garbage or editing, what Youtubers really need to learn is how to do voice work so they don't sound annoying or stilted from reading off a script or fuck their audio from using their equipment wrong. I think its pretty common that if the audio is grating, you want to stop listening. I don't know why people in this community can't realize how much your audio effects your content. All the editing in the world doesn't matter if people click off your video because of your annoying voice.
Edit: I think Birdy Brad does a good job and he is one of the better ones, I think he just gets lazy, which I get because its a job.

It takes me about 3 seconds these days to recognize that someone is whispering into a microphone with their lips pressed against the windscreen. I don't even wait anymore to see if it will be more tolerable than usual, I just close the video and leave.

Even huge youtubers like Nexpo drive me nuts with their commentary. He uses way too much compression and the videos are so loud I usually have to turn them down just for them to be listenable. I don't know how this gets missed in the editing process, my only real theory is he uses an amplifier that isn't powerful enough to drive his headphones so on his end the audio is quiet? Pretty common occurrence with high end headphones that are 300ohms, like Sennheiser's - cheap shit can't drive the headphones so they're quiet. Either way, it's bad.
My favorite voiceover youtuber is Brendan Sussman, aka DukeLovesYou. Great voice and he made a few videos that were pretty funny and he also did voices for some things besides YouTube, most notably the guards in the original SCP
B game. Sadly though he vanished and hasn't been active on any social media in 5+ years now. I tried to do some digging by googling his name but wasn't able to find anything on him.
