Tom's business model isn't entirely built off of covering new stuff that nobody's heard of - it's (at least at the moment) mostly built off of attempting to make the "definitive" video on a well-known topic, like Chris Chan, DarksydePhil, WingsOfRedemption, Boogie2988, Cyrax, Daniel Larson, Joshua Block, Foodie Beauty, I could go on.

Metokur did a great job covering Randy, but his video's editing style and humor can be a barrier to general audiences. There have also been plenty of true crime videos made about Randy (like from EWU and DocumentingEvil), but true crime videos are often less focused on providing a chronological recounting of the subject's history, opting instead to focus in on the aspects of the case that led up to the crime.

Tom wants his main channel to be a one-stop shop for "normie"-friendly documentaries on all the biggest people of interest on the Internet, done in an engaging, chronological, mostly matter-of-fact style.
