In Nick's defence Destiny's lackey Dan Saltman framed it as if Hasan doxed someone, and that's a lie a lot of anti-Hasan people ran with. I think it was worth correcting. There's something to be said about DeOrio having an inflated ego anytime he does something against the grain, but when he's right, he's right.

Also unpopular opinion, I don't think what Hasan did is even that big of a deal. He initially showed people the wrong profile, but then went to the correct one afterwards. I feel like people only care because it's Hasan.

For what it's worth, I'd also clown on Asmongold in the same situation. If he got the right guy I wouldn't even blink, people are split on this situation based on how shitty you think it is that some turkroach shows your face to thousands of viewers and calls you a skinny weak bitch while you're just minding your own business.
Of course though, a lot of people think it's not so bad considering he moved on to the right guy later and because Hasan is such a massive retard on streams anyways.
 
I saw a feel good piece about a grandmother who made a virtual world that she had been building up for something like 12 years and had very few visitors to the virtual world. Then she ran into a Youtuber and then Dexterto publish the piece. The majority of the comments are asking why they would do that, bring attention to the woman because it's the internet and people are going to go there and ruin it now. And that was for telling the world about a good person. Hasan has a very large audience and people suck, probably both of the people he showed got harassment even though they knew it was the wrong guy.

And of course, if you REALLY catch the bastard with his pants down, he'll resort to the classic "Why do you care. This isn't important. This is irrelevant." Literally anything to save face so he doesn't have to admit his perspectives or worldviews aren't all-encompassing, or sometimes straight up wrong.

His takes on Billy Mitchell are the best example of this. He openly fellates a senior level lolcow for reasons I couldn't hope to understand, and if you ever point out that Billy is still a cheating snake and a liar, he'll rage out and yell at you.

If you give a mouse a cookie, he'll want a glass of milk.
If you give a commentary Youtuber a W, he'll grow a massive ego.

I dont think anyone beyond compnigger spaces and its viewers care. Billy played his cards right, he played an entertaining character when he was vindicated, and found a community to attach himself to that would play ball with his antics. Couple that with alot of past statements karl stated to be lies just not being the case, Billy has completely 180'd his image overnight.

He was also being mega retarded on twitter recently, getting into stupid fights with Drew Pavlou (which is also kind of a lolcow but I like his geopolitical opinions) with what can only be described as clown on clown warfare.

I don't necessarily want to get into a slapfight over Mitchell, but I have to disagree.
Karl Jobst being a stupid faggot does not absolve or rectify the fact that Billy Mitchell is a massive, sue-happy pissbaby faggot who uses the legal system to bully those critical of him. This behavior is so well known at this point that even mainstream creators like J.G. Quintell (Regular Show) have openly mocked Mitchell's childish, lolcow behavior.
But now all of a sudden because Karl out-lolcowed Mitchell, suddenly all is forgiven and Billy Mitchell is "le based?" Nah, not buying it.
As with so many other topics, Deorio is woefully misinformed, and simply defaults to the age-old faggot strategy of banning or mocking anyone that points out his lack of understanding.
People hate Mitchell not because "Muh Donkey Kong" they hate him because he would use the shitty rules of the American legal system to browbeat even the most casual critics with frivolous lawsuits.
