The mama max drama was really entertaining, but at what cost?

Also Nick says like a couple minutes in “I’ve been reading on the internet that me and Augie hate each other.”

I’m pretty sure all of us have been saying the exact opposite for like three months. We say they disagree but won’t ever side against each other publicly because they’re friends. Is there some smaller more autistic group than us analyzing them online? Is this some sort of reddit thing? I don’t think clipped live would say that, they’re generally fans of both I think.

I think he referenced us talking about who likes/hates who like a minute before he said that, idk, just kinda funny. I’ll probably be doing another one of those the next time something happens. When there’s no actual fighting you have to make due.

I am enjoying this yms drama. Ganging up on a retard semi-outside of commentary (mama max, jake doolittle, etc) is honestly better than infighting. This is why sacrificing the pet retard is always so good. It combines the best of both kinds of content.

I said I’d probably do more community analysis, here I am. I can’t sleep so I might as well do this. My mom took too much Tylenol when I was in the womb ig.

At the end they talk more about Tommy C bc Vega as per usual had no idea people were fighting lol. Starting at like 59:40.

This is not really important, I think Tommy is already semi-retired now, but worth mentioning. I imagine they talked about this to egg on the kind of “they secretly hate each other” analysis they were making fun of at the start, but whatever, this is fun so I’ll take the bait.

Nick says that Tommy and Augie hate eachother now (sorta jokingly) because Vega mentioned Tommy for the 30th time. Augie tries to shut it down and says he doesn’t hate him, he’s just been annoying. Nick says Tommy’s done like 7 streams, Augie says he’s ignoring them, then says Tommy is fine/great but laughs saying it.

Again, it’s just being funny, but it is different from how they usually cover it. Augie, even when Tommy was against him in drama said they were still friends. Here he wasn’t too eager to talk about it, but he’s not approaching it in that way anymore. Nick also used to reaffirm that he and Tommy were friends or would at least refuse to cover him negatively. Now he’s egging on a conversation about Tommy’s drama with the guy he’s fighting with. Tommy used to get a pass for being this sektur’s father, but that’s faded. But again, he’s also kinda out of the community anyway.

They also talk about Willy, Nick brings it up (continuing the joke about Vega not knowing anything). They were/are going to have him on the podcast too, Augie suggests a debate.

I’m guessing now that this (the drama not the debate) will fizzle out.

Nick is still friends with Willy and was favorable to him in that drama, but like I’ve been saying, Nick and Augie are also friends and have made it clear through the last couple community events that they will not publicly be on opposite sides of a drama even when their stances are. I doubt Nick would be involved in any kind of debate if there is one. I also don’t think Augie cares enough about the Willy drama to put Nick in a position where he has to pick a side. I think this will just be another community fracture event where two big names just stop talking or associating.

That being said, if this somehow escalates, I think Augie will probably end up winning, or at least not losing. Nick keeps alluding to fans or commentary people being mad that he’s associating with Augie, I’m not sure who that is. I’m kinda out of the loop on that. We know what it looks like when he’s pandering to an audience and trying to navigate around people/takes they don’t like, he’s not doing that here. So I don’t think he’ll disavow Augie. I think the only situation where he gets close to doing that is if he publicly breaks from commentary as a whole and stops associating with everyone. I don’t think he’d disavow Willy either, but I think he’s more likely to disavow Willy than Augie.

We saw this a bit when Augie and Willy were feuding. Obviously we don’t know what happened behind closed doors, but Nick did call into Augie’s stream to try to deescalate. I’ll put it this way, regardless of who he would choose to disavow if forced to, I think it’s much more likely that Augie would damage Willy’s credibility/reputation to the point of disavowal, than the other way around. I think that’s why he tried to deescalate Augie more than Willy (besides personal opinion) I don’t see a scenario where Willy makes a video that ends Augie’s career. He makes poorly researched videos with lots of leaps in logic that are only given leniency because he is going after easy targets. That doesn’t work when the guy you’re making a video on will just call you a faggot and make fun of you (and will be gone for 3-4 months again regardless of how it goes)

I will be shocked if Nick brings this up again, if they have another Willy episode I’ll be interested to see what he does. If he eggs this on, I’m guessing either 1) Willy’s done something he doesn’t like but needs a legit reason to burn the bridge before he dumps embarrassing shit or 2) They’re all actually totally fine or just neutral and are trolling

I just thought of this, I should probably sleep and I have a fever, but it would be really fucking funny if Nick was referring to Willy or other people when he references “people” or “the internet” getting mad that he’s associating with Augie. I can totally see Willy getting mad that Nick won’t disavow Augie. After all, Augie apparently helped dox his fianc- sorry sorry his BRIDE.

Probably not true, but I really don’t know what he’s reffering to. I do see a couple comments that aren’t happy about Augie being on the podcast, but it’s pretty overwhelming positive. I don’t think a few comments warrant how he’s been talking about it like a persistent issue lately. I don’t think any of us have a problem with Augie, maybe some of us with Nick, but I don’t think anyone is mad about them making content together. I think we’ve been asking for stuff like that. I don’t see anything on clipped live. The only other thing I can think of is his H3 fans? But again that links back to Willy, his audience is mostly those fans due to his Hasan coverage. I’m pretending this is true now.

I just don’t get it, if I had a friend publicly lie about another friend because their feelings were hurt I’d at least publicly say what they did was wrong, you can say a friend did bad without cutting them off.

Remember when Oreo tried to pretend he was on a date with his girlfriend, but she set the record straight that they were just friends? He then tried to play it off like he wasn't implying they were together.

I think he said sometime last year that they had dated (on again off again) and weren't dating at that point so she clarified or something like that. Everyone in commentary needs one embarrassing woman/gf story. Bowblax made a girl become a nun, Tipster is Tipster, Flam is Flam, Augie is in a weird spot because being an incel is key to his brand but he did have that one lady who was stalking him so I'll count it.

Augie is likely gay.

Nobody who’s been on again / off again would feel so overwhelmingly compelled to go online and air their private life just to set the record straight that they weren’t dating DeOrio at that time. She was so objectionable to the idea people would think her standards are so low as to be with him it would lower her social standing that she needed to clear the air on a public stage. That’s not the act of someone that ever had feelings for this fat, disgusting, greasy, pig of a boy.

I’d remind those reading that after a certain amount of weight gain, the male body cuts its testosterone output and increases estrogen. He’s scientifically provably a fat bitch.
