With the information that Tom seemed to be the genesis of Gorilla mode, I went back and found what seemed like the most obvious place the phrase would have leaked into Nick's streams, the Tom/Chud/Nick stream about the minecraft allegations in 2024.

At the time it seems like Tom doing edgy Tom things but the exchanges take on a bit of a different hue now (transcribed as best I could)
First:
Chud: "The way she was crying on stream- I I watched the Destiny clip and yeah the way she's crying on stream it's...it's insane..."
Nick: "Do you want me to play tha-
Tom: "You think he went fucking-
you would think he went Gorilla mode and like ripped a hole in her panties an-"
Nick: "Okay STOP SAYING THAT TOM-stah-wai-who-who invented Gorilla mo-
this is the second time in 24 hours that you've said 'Gone Gorilla Mode' 'ripped out his dic-' where did that come from?"
Tom: "I imagine a Gorilla would be rather sexually aggressive-"
Nick: "WHY"
Tom: "Are-are you drawing some link to..."
Nick: "NO I'm just like wait is Gorilla Mode like a thing? Is it a zoomer thing? Do you guys just go Gorilla Mode?"
Tom: "You just go Gorilla Mode"
-brief pause-
Nick: "I ca- I jus-"
Tom: "[unintelligible sounds like "sometimes"?] you can consensually go Gorilla Mode too, it happens..." ("it happens" trails off)
Nick: [laughing] she's just sitting there like that a- (trails off/Tom talks over)
Tom: "Some girls like when you go Gorilla mode"
Nick: "Is that like the um....the old one, Goblin mode?"
Chud: "I prefer calling it Black Mode"
A bit later:
Nick: "There are people who heard that statement thinking she got assaulted in some way shape or form an-"
Tom: "No people think he went Gorilla Mode. That's a Gorilla Mode statement"
Nick: (seems to be ignoring Tom's Gorilla mode interjection temporarily) "Like what do you mean you could wash off his handprint when he what tickled your stomach? Like what are you talking about?"
Tom: "Because if you get sprayed down by a Gorilla you need to take a shower-"
Nick: "Oh my god"
Tom: "You don't get sprayed dow-"
Nick: "Stop with the Gorilla mode"
Chud: "If you [something] Gorillas, I'm going to take it somewhere you don't want it to go"
At 51 minutes there's a brief mention where Tom asks Nick if he's going gorilla mode these days, but because he said "Nick are" Nick immediately shifted to the fact that Nick Are sounds a bit like nigger. Nothing substantial there really. At 52 it returns and Tom again puts it shifts it into a brief discussion of twomad and Chud goes there but again nothing substantial.
A bit later:
Tom: "It's like an incel thing where they believe if you stick tougue to the roof of your mouth and like jut out your jaw you can strengthen your jawline which will then make you like in the optimal position to get pussy because women only like you if have like predator eyes uh strong jawline 6' 4" whatever like-"
Nick: "Well they like when you go Gorilla mode"
Tom: "...he needs to mew..." (this part was talked over by Nick so I only really caught that bit)
-brief pause-
Tom: "Girls do like when you go Gorilla mode, on foenem grave[something that sounds like 'phone'] on grave, they do like that"
Nick: "People in chat are saying it works dude"
Tom: "A lot of my chatters know that going gorilla mode works, several of my chatters have experienced uh turkey mode"
Nick: "Turkey mode, what is that?"
Tom: "It's when you use the gobbler"
There are more mentions peppered through the stream but they don't last long.
This one goes for a while but it I don't think is relevant but I'll link it anyway:
Tom not getting that on kick a 3 in chat means "rape the woman" or something like that, so he sees 3s followed by gorillas and asks about it. Nick knows the reference so he tries to bait Tom with misinformation until Chud gives up the game. Involves gorilla mode reference and rape reference but this doesn't seem to be a Freudian clip.
