While YouTube is definitely politically biased and fucks people due to copyright, I am really sick of all the "muh algorithm" spergings that some people like to do. It can never be the fact that they do the creator does the same videos for years now, it must be a conspiracy of YouTube personally fucking with him due to something.

Youtube has started pushing videos into my subscription box from channels I've never been subscribed to. Looking into it a couple of my subscribed channels are being tagged on other channel's videos. I dont see a way to disable the 'feature'.

They're trying to turn it into an Instgram or Facebook feed.
 
Got my YouTube channel removed for "Hate speech". I wasn't even uploading anything to it. I used it just to like some videos and sometimes comment. Terrible platform.

I think it's due to some creators enabling the feature (or not disabling it), but many users are reporting YT automatically adds AI dubbing over videos in languages different than the account owner's. Depending on the device, you can disable this.

YT just assumes I don't understand English despite 90% of the channels I follow speak English.
 
I can't help but laugh in hindsight whenever I see people blaming Susan Wojcicki for everything wrong with YT. She died, and nothing changed. Thus confirming my theory that she was nothing more than a cog in the machine, a fall guy to take the blame everytime Google wanted to roll out a new change.

People don't even talk about the new CEO. Maybe they realized it too, or maybe they just don't want to look racist.
 
One thing that's been annoying me about YouTube in the past few months is the number of auto-dubbed foreign language videos it keeps serving me despite how many I tick off as not interested. I never used to get anything that wasn't in English before and now it's an extremely common occurrence clogging up my homepage. There needs to be an option to just not recommend any auto-dubbed crap.
 
YouTube is still synonymous with "no fun allowed" and will probably stay that way. The guy who made the Emo cover version of HH by Kanye West got his meme track removed for "nudity", which there is none of. It mentions the word "tit", "fuck" and "pussy", so it might be a strike because of these words. On one hand, they allow rancid nigger rap where they mumble about rape and killing people.

I'm surprised they actually did revive some banned channels, but the censorship (at least on my end, probably blacklisted), is still insanely out of control and totalitarian, to say the least.

You can't write ANY-FUCKING-THING.
 
I hate it when YouTube asks me to sign in to "confirm" I'm not a bot. I don't want certain videos to fuck up my recommendations, and opening them in private tabs is the simplest method for that. It's genuinely the worst thing implemented so far.
 
I've noticed that if you watch a video that contains the word 'suicide' in its transcript, you get a big ol' text box on the page that says DON'T KILL YOURSELF CALL 989 or something to that effect.

I don't like this because it's potentially embarrassing. Like if you walk away from the computer and someone sees it, they'll think you've been googling suicide methods.

Also according to my religion, preventing suicide, and preserving life in general, is a sin.

As someone who likes to listen to Suicidal Tendencies from time to time I have to say this one is particularly annoying.
