Do you think America is gearing up for a "liberation" of China in order to destroy the last major holdout against Globohomo, and therefore recalled these guys and told them to go hardball on the Chinks? The "It's not the Chinese people, it's the CCP that's bad!" narrative they're crafting is perfect for this, and seems rather implausible since China has always been a bureaucratic authoritarian state that flares up into brutal civil wars with millions dead every few centuries. It stands to reason that this style of governance is the inevitable result of Chinese folkways, much like the Antebellum South came from Cavalier ideals.

Meanwhile every gripe they have about it is that it isn't liberal enough. CCP Chinks are racist, they have nepotism, they don't have due process, they quash dissent and pretend their shit don't stink, there's no accountability, they're paranoid &c. &c. Meanwhile The Atlantic is publishing articles about how the CCP is reading Carl Schmitt to build their Third Reich knockoff. The framing is just too perfect.

Could be. Though, I personally always had the impression that globohomo was more than willing to lay in bed with the chinks. Perhaps they're only now feeling the heat of the CCP's ambition...

Or they're trying some 1984 shit where both sides use the other as a way for their population to get their Two Minutes' Hate while reaffirming their ruling value system. Perhaps I'm overthinking it, and it's just the Coof .
