The problem with “influencers” like Sargon is that they spend their entire life on public platforms that archive everything. Imagine how easy it would be to get dirt on a presidential candidate if their entire career and social existed entirely on the internet, literally a google search away.
The existence of his kiwi farms thread killed the chance of him ever holding real office, it’s just too easy to find all of his shenanigans. It’s like hunting for Hilary’s emails on the special easy mode that only game journalists enjoy because it turns a challenge into a walking sim.

Good point. His patreon is basically the alleged Russian conspiracy CNN won’t shut up about, but in reverse. And since he’s already been deemed as an alt-right character, the BBC or the Guardian can just argue that he has been bought by the “racist Neo Nazis” of trump voters.
On a side note, I find it comedic that he hasn’t once brought up his “black heritage” in an Elizabeth Warren-esque fashion. You’d think he would jump to that to dodge criticism, which is why he created that fib in the first place
