Youtube Wants Us to Pay for Views - This Platform Is Circling the Drain - for fuck's sake, how do you constantly keep making bad decisions

  • 🔧 Actively working on site again.
Might as well make paid views official and let assholes buy fame for a few hundred dollars. This is probably the same program talk shows have used for years to push irrelevant crap to the top.

Will they fix pajeet videos that autoplay muted on 0px width 0px height element on their websites?

I know why MATI makes 3mil views in a week. It's probably on autoplay right now, muted, at x:39745px, y:27435px...

He ended up getting about 240k "recommended for you" impressions for his $75, with around 2.5% clickthru rate. Not great, but it could be worse. Oh wait, it is... he usually gets a clickthru rate of between 3.5%-4.5% for videos organically recommended by The Algorithm.
Seeing as how from usually it's relevant videos from the things you have watched, it's just crazy to imagine how they're making people pay to be more viewable on the website. I doubt content creators are going to stick around YouTube, considering it's a cesspool now. There are so many good alternatives to YouTube anyway, why stay on it if you're a content creator?

Apparently, Youtube is getting to the point of updating their anti-adblocking script several times per day.
Meanwhile, they're trying to fight against weaponized autism.
Good luck.

Any Youtuber only has themselves to blame for not uploading their content to other sites if Youtube start going under. I told content creators to at least have a channel on other platforms in case something happens but they always give some excuse to brush over the reality that they're just too fucking lazy to make an account and paste in their API key.

I've got a HUGE popcorn bag ready for that just in case it does happen. it will be such a glorious shit show when YouTubers have to search the unknown for an alternate platform. Best case senario, everyone just moves to Odysee since it seems like the "safest" route, especially since it's been getting more attention, although idk how the whole "you need points to upload shit" system will jive with them. Dailymotion and Vimeo have been around longer but i don't know anyone that suses them seriously since they are pretty strict on what you can and can't upload (I've seen people purposefully distort their videos just so DailyMotion doesn't strike them for copywright content). That just leaves the other "right wing nazi" sites (Rumble, Bitchute) that they obviously won't touch with a 50ft pole.

It'll be hilarious, seeing as how I doubt YouTube will give up, they will persistently update the ad blocker, and it will just lure people to these other sites, which should've happened a long time ago. YouTube has a problem with trying to censoring people, which is a huge warning sign, but unfortunately, most companies do this nowadays, so either way you're fucked unless you use alternatives.
