Thats because the majority of people currently associated with the CwC youtube community haven't largely had to do research in general. Most of CwC lore was already laid out bare for them before they were even aware of Chris chan. Chris chan also hasn't done many exciting or controversial things in the second half of the 2010s, or even the entire decade since Bob's death to some Christorians. Their research has usually been the equivalent of looking something up on wikipedia, except its the CwCki or Kiwifarms, and just regurgitating that with commentary.

For actual ongoing things, these people will just check a Chris chan happens thread, and repeat ad nauseum. It's telling that the first time something big actually broke, with regards to Chris chan news, you had youtubers following the same formula which doesn't equate to anything actually investigative.

On GiBi himself, you have an advanced level of that with jumping on this thing, trying to insert himself to get the scoop, and publishing whatever information he could at face value because it has worked in the past for him, but thats not how current events should be covered, frankly.

Thread renamed and repurposed. In between downtime I'm currently taking a peek at the Sean Walker / Psychic Espeon thread and comparing notes. These two were/are hiding something in all this mess and were involved in the same weird little autistic knitting circle. To be clear I'm not accusing either one (especially GiBi/Devon) of being per se involved in the really depraved shit but I feel like especially in Devon's case he got sucked in by the attraction of the bizarre nature of the Chris story like many an orbiter but got himself in with a really bad sub-crowd of one the various orbiter "inner circles." To what extent he willfully covered Bella's involvement is unclear and I want to give him the benefit of the doubt but they had a pretty extensive prior association and he seems to have trusted her implicitly.

@GiBi Explain yourself. We all know you are reading this.
