It is a meme. Hell, the same thing happened when the Sonic twitter said the exact same thing. These guys are pretty formulaic—you say a certain thing and get a very predictable response every time.
Fuck it, they probably think every time you say "I sexually identify as an attack helicopter" a trans person gets murdered or something.

On the Let's Play Social Justice blog (a triggers blog for YouTube gamers in general) there's a mass triggering going on due to the use of the word "allosexual".
From what I understand, a "allosexual" is someone who isn't asexual. Why we need a word for this is beyond me but it was used on the blog mentioned above and there's now a real spergy debate on whether or not it's necessary to use. I'll post screenshots of a few of the Tumblr posts here but a lot of them are too big to screenshot (the great textwall of China) so I do recommend you look at the blog yourself.

Well yeah, but that'd make you an aromantic asexual.
You can be in a long-term monogamist relationship and have regular sex with your partner and you'd still be an asexual. As long as you say you are and can justify it with some kind of rationale that amounts to "well sometimes I don't feel like having sex" or "well I don't like having sex with anyone other than my partner".

All this long-winded effort to keep the kiddies from being 'triggered' and yet they gain little to no traffic. The effort, while somewhat admirable, falls fucking flat every time. There's probably a shit ton more of these somewhere, waiting to be noticed and praised for their work. They ain't gettin' anything and life goes on, as it should.

Oh god, this thread. I didn't even realize I was waiting for this but here it is.
Roosterteeth trigger blogs are especially hilarious. I don't know if the blog posted at the start of this thread is the same one I'm thinking of, but there was a Roosterteeth, or maybe Achievement Hunter trigger blog that was constantly fucking rife with drama. My memory is a little vague now but I remember incidents of cast members getting harassed over perceived triggers and use of not SJW approved words. There would be different cast members who were put on a pedestal of being the current fandom favorite one week, before the next week they'd say the word retard in a video and suddenly they became the scum of the earth and if you liked that cast member you were scum too. The cast, eventually, began to edit their videos pretty heavily to try and avoid these complaints, not that it worked mind you. Often in the videos cast members would comment about certain words and jokes needing to be removed in editing during filming, which they were. Which kind of sucked, because the whole cast could be laughing about a joke in a video that the audience wouldn't get to hear because it was off color and had to be cut to prevent possible harassment.
This caused a shit storm of in fighting in the tumblr sect of the Roosterteeth/Achievement Hunter fandom between those who essentially wanted SJW Approved, child friendly content, and those who realized that Roosterteeth videos were going to be vulgar and not politically correct all the time because that's just the kind of comedy that channel offers.
This all then caused more bitching in the other sects of the Roosterteeth fandom on their forums and on youtube from fans who liked the not pc jokes and wanted them back.
I don't know if it's still as bad as it was, it's been probably 2 years since I've watched their content or paid any attention to their fandom. But back then, it was pretty god damn ridiculous. Especially considering all of Roosterteeth is built on the back of the machinima Red vs. Blue which is essentially nothing but violent comedy and jokes about the sheer idiocy or straight up retarded behavior of the characters mixed in with some drama and nice animation in later seasons.
