Youtubers teetering on the edge of cowdom - Who is next to fall from grace, and why?

So speaking of youtubers who talk paranormal, anyone here ever heard of Beyond Science, aka Mike Chen?

I'm not sure what to make of the guy..... I sincerely hope he's only in it for the money, because otherwise he is the most stupidly gullible guy ever. One of the worst videos was this one about a "mysterious item inside a Disney time capsule" (the capsule was buried in the 1960s and yet had a figurine of Dale with his Rescue Rangers outfit, which didn't exist until the 1980s).

His sister was with him in that video and she made the obvious suggestion that maybe someone opened the capsule and put the figure in later, and Mikey Chen acknowledges it but then is all like "still, its really weird!"

It's actually hilarious whenever he's with another person, because they always act like they're just humoring him and are embarrassed to be there, while he's always so enthusiastic.

I seriously hope this guy is just in it for the money and isn't really as retarded as he seems, but in the paranormal community you never know.

This guy pretty much is a cow, but he hasn't attracted enough attention to get a thread here.

lil nas x's latest music video is a ton of symbolism from a ton of different religions all slapped together into a single after effects project and also he twerks on satan

decent risk a skitzocow takes a shot at his life for it. it's probably going to stir up a ton of almost-cows

Tom Stanniland, aka "Kill'em".

Some Irish Youtuber who makes videos where he tries to do insanely stupid shit like mailing himself in a box, and trying to cross country through kids toys.

His videos are obviously fake, and he appeals to little kids but I can't imagine any kid doing retarded nonsense like this.

Lockstin and Gnoggin.

90% of this guy's channel is Pokemon clickbait with the formula of:
  1. Bait in 12 year olds and manchildren with 'THE TRUTH ABOUT *INSERT POKEMON HERE*"
  2. Asking "What are the mysterious origins of *INSERT POKEMON HERE*?"
  3. Then the majority of the video is him reading the wikipedia article on whatever animal, plant, folklore, or rectal suppository the pokemon is based off of.
Speaking of which, who is who? I only see one guy speaking all the time

Also I remember that channel got big during the lead up to Gen 7 when we all thought Game Freak cared about Pokemon.

There is this weirdo that runs a channel called Mad at the Internet...

There are lot of suggestions in this thread that I agree with. Daft Pina has definitely gotten worse over time, lot more attacking artists for political opinions rather than because they ran scams or did something actually bad. EmpLemon will eventually sperg out in a way where it sticks to him. See SOTY (Reddit debate for one) or his rant about YouTube Poop and how he wasn't given enough recognition.

Agree about Dreamcastguy, he seems to have a dedicated community of haters already. I like him well enough, but I get annoyed by him at times. I don't know if it has ever been confirmed, but I think his fiancรฉ left him, it's why he moved house and sleeps on the bare ground now instead of a bed - didn't buy a bed but bought multiple PS5s and Xboxs for himself and to give away. He would be one to look at in detail, not sure what kind of sperging he has done.

There are a lot more. As someone said, lolcows and potential cows are attracted to the platform, I guess because it is all about gaining attention from as many people as possible. My problem is that I tend to just unsubscribe when people's eccentricities start to ruin the kahntent.

Quick list of other potential cows, might expand on why I think this later - Thorhighheels, Nightmare Expo, Nightmind, Izzy Nobre, Extra Credits, School of Life, Christopher Niosi Aka Kirbopher (went to do a thread on him but abandoned it), Jordan go to sleep, Mamamax, Max Forrest, Nyx Fears, and Stamper (as much as the last one is painful to say).

Shit, yeah I'd forgotten about that. That was embarrassing, it was like an hour of whining about stupid memes and shitposting and how people were just jealous of how good his dumb Youtube Poops were and were soooo meaaaan to him. Looks like he's deleted it looking at his channel. Also looking at his channel, as time goes on you see fewer and fewer actually interesting videos (like his Leafy video and the one on the 2016 election) and more complaining about Youtube, complaining about other channels, and, in one glorious sperg-out, complaining about other people complaining about him complaining about another youtuber and how it's really youtube's fault. He can be interesting, engaging and back up his arguments with really good research at his best, but at this rate he's going to end up as another Quinton Reviews, disappearing into his own ego and whining about how he should be getting the big breaks and everything that goes wrong in his life is other people's fault.

rcsuperpowers used to be a chill channel about rc planes, then the lead guy did some weird self help book about marketing personalities, and how the different demos respond to your tone of voice, so he just started yelling aggressively about marketing lingo completely changing his personality to "weird yelling guy", then he deleted those videos and started reviewing random real aircraft but the vibe was off, now he seems to have stopped altogether.

LifeOD/haggard/Orion Dajnowicz burning through different scenes as he rips off his new group of buddies seems to be how people view the dude, I have no proof of that crazy drama like selling the name of their company ect ect, but what I did see was when he went full prepper hiding in the woods and uploading vids of bump firing and and other gun stuff I don't quite think seattle was ok with, he seemed desperate to get his channel nuked, now hes "given" his channels to ANOUTHER set of friends, apparently he's $btc rich now so any amount of idiocy is possible.

Watching Stamper's violent decline in real time is the first time I genuinely felt saddened by a youtuber. I think he's doing a bit better, but he's definitely far too gone to go back to being "normal" again.

It's kinda sad 'cause these guys (guy?) would be kinda interesting if only he stayed more unbiased and objective and didn't need to feel the need to insert his thoughts about every single thing into every video and make cringy jokes all the time. Like the name origins of all the Animal Crossing villagers video is an interesting idea unfortunately he spends half the video introducing each villager by squealing over them if he likes them and calling them abominations if he hates them. His "every Pokemon type explained" videos are another tragically ruined cool idea wasted by too much complaining. He seems to think Game Freak has a personal vendetta against him and his obsessions, like moths and alchemy. His rant about alchemy in the Magearna section of the Fairy Type video was the straw that broke the camel's back for me. Dude, chill out. Also, it's obvious that he's only interested in alchemy 'cause he's a huge Fullmetal Alchemist fan, and wouldn't that be, to real modern practicing alchemists, be like a total poser, johnny-come-lately thing? Alas, he's gotten big with the kiddos, who not only love hearing people complain but have a nasty tendency to mold their opinions around what the most popular people are saying (Lockstin says Chrissy the rabbit is creepy? Chrissy the rabbit is creepy then!) and try to force their opinions on others (Fuck you and your cute Chrissy fan art, Chrissy's a nightmare demon!).

He also has this really really really really obnoxious skeleton persona, Maxill. It's basically the Mr. Hyde to his Dr. Jekyll, where he gets to complain even more, even though he already complains all the time. Here's an example of the wonderful content Maxill brings to the world. He's apparently super duper popular though and allegedly they were going to give him even more screen time last I heard. (I wish I could put the horrifying logo here) (Edit: woops sorry I forgot to put a link to a shitty maxill video but that's okay you don't need to waste your precious time watching cringe)

I also remember in his last YouTube poops he had this annoying running gag which was "Can you unsubscribe???" ear rape. I think he really hated his audience at the time and that's when he made his shift in content to what it is now, but even then he does have these occasional bouts of sperging like that video. There's also this shit video I remember where he sucks off Anthony Fantano's now dead meme channel and whines about Behind the Meme and how he's "ruining the memescape" (lmao):

Don't get me wrong, BTM is shit, but this video was still so autistic. I haven't seen any episodes of the podcast he's on but I wonder if he's ever said anything dumb on there. I really hope EmpLemon doesn't become a cow, since I've watched him since he started out doing YTP's and enjoy some of his newer videos, but moments like these make me worried.

Eric Kanevsky is a 22 year old (yes really) "fitness youtuber" who looks like this because he has been on 2 grams of steroids from age 15.
how do i abused steroids.jpg

he is in a beef with cassady campbell, a fag who shows women pictures of other men and asks them if they want to fuck the other men. Eric's main channel got deleted because he was doing to catch a predator type videos where he says he made a grindr account "for research" then lured in homos who wanted teenage boys. he is convinced that he was not terminated for engaging in weird possibly illegal behaviour, but because this Cassady character is the mastermind of a conspiracy.

he made a tardrage vid about cassady supposedly raping women, and buying dislike bots, two things he sees as being equally bad.

I think Legal Eagle should have a Prospering Grounds thread soon.

He seems like the kind of person that will start up the โ€œI FCKING LOVE LAW!โ€ crowd which will slowly replace the โ€œI FCKING LOVE SCIENCE!โ€ crowd.
God I fucking hate that.

its great seeing law/science/any complex field become accessible, but why do they always need to cake it with soy.

Im fucking looking at you too Elon

This guy's a massive douche. Used to just make decent at best videos covering some big cases in law and then during the BLM disaster started to convert his channel to hop on the virtue signalling gravy train. I guess it hasn't derailed yet. Maybe he'll eventually do something dumb enough to get cancelled?

While we're on the topic of Legal Eagle, allow me to introduce his pet-project cringe factory breeding ground, Nebula:

It seems to be a YouTube competitor destined to be crushed under their heel designed to promote up and coming talent... and by that we mean cringe peddlers. The other OG torch bearers are Sarah Z, a low rent Jenny Nicholson who is somehow even more cringy to listen to, because at least Jenny Nicholson has some interests that aren't intersectional, like theme park history, but Sarah Z is all politics all the time, and Tier Zoo, the odd one out because not only is he way less political than his peers, his stuff is zoology presented in meta game lingo, which you'd think would scare the others away 'cause pro gamers aren't known for their political correctness. Its lineup includes current cows such as Philosophy Tube, hbomberguy, Lindsey Ellis, and Extra Credits, and a couple of people also kinda teetering on the edge of cowdom, like Hello Future Me (A guy who jerks off to Avatar the Last Airbender instead of making actual videos), Patrick H Willems (soy incarnate), and Terrible Writing Advice (ran out of ideas a long time ago and now everything's super passive aggressive and dipping dangerously close to soy), and a lot of other people in the "I FCKING LOVE SCIENCE!" crowd. There's a few odd balls, the aforementioned Tier Zoo, Alt Shift X (who does quite good Game of Thrones content), Austin McConnell and Sam O'Nella Academy (the only two people on YouTube I've ever seen talk about history not in a smug SJW sort of way), and Razbuten (a pretty milquetoast gaming guy).

If Nebula collapses in an incredible fireball like Channel Awesome did I wanna be the one to call it.
