YouTubers you hate that everyone else likes

I'm still shocked that no YouTuber called him out on that shit, how the fuck did he get away with that? He even brought on top streamers/whatever else bugmen in his pity party video like Ludwig, all over the most harmless negative comment. Didn't he also receive a shit load of money from people when his house burnt down to buy a new one, but proceeded to stay in an RV for a whole year?

And for the thread: Joshua Weissman
I was looking up cheap cooking vids cause of the way the economy is going, and I decided to watch some of his videos on cheap recipes, but holy shit if this isn't some of the most obnoxious and painfully unfunny shit I've watched.
There's other examples but this is just one, he's so damn cringe. Also clickbait with the titles, he says $1 mac n cheese but it's really $1 serving, not the whole thing, and doesn't even give a total price of all the ingredients from the store.
Yeah like he can occasionally provide useful tips on cooking but he gets really pretentious, his humor is just not funny, and misleading on cheap recipes.

I really wanted to give him a shot because he's pretty funny when he collabs with Internet Historian, but every time SumitoMedia uploads a Meme Review-ass video weeks, sometimes months after the memes peak, while working the same "im horny for egirls and goths" bit, I become very tired. We get it: you're a horny lil SEAbird and you are racially obligated to pursue wank material before anything else. But even after accounting for extended jacking time, you should not be operating on Facebook-like timetables as a meme channel; there is possibly no other content more perishable than a fucking meme. Looking forward to the Thor: Love and Thunder video around the holidays, barring another big-titty clown or shapely pumpkin crossing the inbox.

Oxhorn:

The guy makes Fallout lore/exploration videos. Each one is about a different vault, character, faction, settlement, etc. He's not bad at it, he makes a new video almost every day. He has a tendency to overanalyze and overthink things that are completely unimportant, while completely missing things that should be obvious. Or taking random things literally that obviously aren't meant to be. All of that's fine though, everyone does goofy shit. He's good at what he does.

This probably sounds dumb, but the thing that bugs me is the guy's voice. I imagine it's just his normal way of speaking, but it sounds like he's attempting a Paul Lynde impression the entire time. I like Paul Lynde, but there's a reason he was a great comic relief bit character. He's just not someone you'd be able to listen to for long periods. Like an audiobook or something.

The worst part is that he's only got two voice modes, normal speaking, and Lynde-esque sarcasm. And that comes out no matter what emotion he's trying to add. Surprise, sadness, mystery, whatever feeling he's trying to convey, it all just sounds like Lynde being snarky and it's just weird and off-putting.

It's one of those things where once you hear it, you'll never be able to un-hear it.
Based off what you described it sounds like he might of improved over the years. My memory might be fuzzy because I stopped watching him around 2008 or so but I remember him being exactly as you described but worse.

Thankfully he kept all his pseudo intellectualism out of his old WoW animation videos but after those ended he went ham with it

Basically any "gaming" YouTuber, this includes Jacksepticeye, Markiplier, DanTDM, JayKubScouts, and others Maybe I'm just salty but I grew up watching these people as a wee lad, but I've been less inclined to watch them after the turn of the decade as they started to virtue signal about "racism" "inclusivity" and "gay rights" Jack is an especially egregious example. They've made a few awful videos doing this shit, the best example was during the George Floyd riots (Mark basically egged on the rioters), but I think their twitters is where the real shitshow takes place. Like why are these YouTubers pretending to be activists? I liked them because of their ability to make something so memorable with such a simple concept, but now that I'm older I couldn't really give a shit, now they just feel like soulless corporate bugmen. They give me the same vibes as those companies changing their avi to rainbows during pride month.

Oh, and don't even get me started on the younger, newer generation of gaming Youtubers like Dream, GeorgeNotFound, and anyone else that orbits them. They're everything I said above and worse, coupled with their awful fanbase and they don't even have nostalgia value.

Some of Moon's videos might start out alright, but then it immediately turns into doomer/incel/conspiracy theorist babble. I saw his Twitch video and when he got to the point where he mentioned FerociouslySteph, or whatever their name is, I just thought to myself, "Dude, that's OLD news. You're two years too late." Who the fuck cares? Plus they don't have any REAL power at Twitch.

Moon's ramblings makes more sense when you realise he's a Jordan Peterson cultist. He also keeps changing the titles of his videos after they go live to try to get people to click on them twice by mistake, which is always a shitty thing to do. WhatIfAltHist is a similar channel (but without the technical ability) with a right-leaning focus but the guy is so far up his own ass it's unwatchable, and when he starts talking about gender he sounds like Davis Aurini. I used to watch both channels but no longer bother because they're such an insufferable watch and they're getting more conceited with every video.

Didn't Oxhorn get into some drama a couple years ago? I remember a lot of videos being made about him but I don't remember the context of it.

Maybe not a singular thing but something that has plagued the science video community for some time now is the incessant implying that i am wrong on everything and need rectifying by some smug shlomo.

Titles in the vein of: thing you thought is wong, or you should want this. Veritassium is a bad offender on this front.
*Think for yourself but also let me tell you how you are wrong.* Its the 'actually' meme personafied.

It goes from teaching to preaching. I dont understand why things cannot be educational without being a smug cunt about it.
I hate Kurzgesagt for the same fucking reason.

ScienceTube has been absolutely fucking Plauged, POZZed, and Jew'd all the way from up and down since at least 2016, and in 2020 has certainly closed the hatchet on their reliability ever since covid dropped.
I remember watching AsapScience when I was younger, but ever since those two fags that run the channel started showcasing their love for each other is when I knew it was time to jump ship. Not to mention.. uh.. this:

Yeah, I agree with this. His videos are narrated so overly dramatic, that it's hard to take them seriously. He makes okay points (Just wish he'd cite the sources) and I do agree with some of what he says but I can't stand how self-righteously he acts in his video. It's like he smells his own farts like a crackhead snorts their fix.,

The last straw for me was the Disney video where he acted as if he was the first person to discover that Disney sucks ass. Yeah, duh, fucking everyone knows. This ain't groundbreaking news.
MamaMax - Mainly because of how he present his videos. I find his edgy teen shit to be unpleasant, it's just so obnoxious. It doesn't help that the dude did that stupid pickaside hashtag on Twitter.
And now he's getting grilled by crazy chicks, he stuck his dick into. As it turns out, he's bonkers himself.
Dead Meat - I despise YouTubers who put politics into their video, and the guy who runs the channel often does that. I do (rarely) still watch his videos because he actually dives into the film, like the production and stuff.
I still shudder at "YoUr BoOt SiR"
Virtual YouTubers
Yes. And the boys aren't much better. It's just ugu uwu kawaii desu shit all around and it's tiresome. It's even worse when you consider oversaturation. The FAKKU girl whatever her name is, set a dangerous trend. Slight off topic maybe but I happened to have encountered some of their braindead simps in the wild and witnessing their intense coomer fanaticism (or lesbian obsessions) is an experience, I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy.
Jacksepticeye, Markiplier,
Good lord, did they really begin to parrot virtue signaling bullshit? Yeesh. I did occasionally watch Markiplier until he began oversharing about his life and more or less feeding into parasocial relationships by giving people insights into his life.
I blame this for the rabid fangirls who would ship him with Jack.

Speaking of Jack, I was never into his content. His catchphrase/greeting/whatever you call it was enough to make me avoid his videos. "Top of the morning" is just an Irish way to say good morning but Jack almost made me hate it because he's so obnoxious about it.

Gaming youtubers who cover "realistic" modern military FPS and milsim games. No specific names, because it doesn't even matter, they're all the exact same. Will shill for any Early Access piece of shit as long as you can put a pecbox onto an M4, and it has somewhat nice animations, regardless of how blatantly unfinished, badly designed or put together the game is. Then when the "NEXT BIG TACTICAL SHOOTER WHICH WILL CHANGE EVERYTHING" quietly stops development, never leaves EA, or releases to a grand total of five players, they just pretend like it never happened and move on to the next thing, or go back to praising Call of Duty 2019.

They're also 99% trust fund tards who spend thousands of dollars on tacticool operator gear and riced up guns, while they're grease goblins who spend 18 hours a day in front of a computer. For some reason they all have an Angry Joe-tier "pro-consumer" bend, meaning that they'll make 10 minute clickbait videos about games being dead or ruined when the devs decide to add a cosmetic they don't like, or when a game gets delayed. Which is all very ironic, considering the absolute shovelware they constantly shill.

Because all the dumb cunts sucking their cocks made them erroneously believe their opinions on things matter, while based in bughive California where they remain untouched from the actual brunt of the shit they instigate. It's real easy then when you can go to bed in your pod and not worry about some rabid fatass antifa or nigger trying to throw a Molotov cocktail through your window because some crook fucked around and found out.

I dislike him too. In fact, many of the big, over-produced cooking channels that revolve around personalities are bad. The ones I dislike the most are:

Babish - He has no business teaching people how to cook. His "Basics with Babish" videos that are meant to be instructive show poor knife grip and chopping techniques. Cutting the way he shows is a good way to get a carpal tunnel syndrome. Other big issue is how much of these videos is simply useless padding. Babish is lauded for the camerawork but I have to disagree with that. Too often he will describe how something looks like instead of tipping the bowl towards the camera and showing. "Turn your brain off" entertainment value is the only thing he is good for. Even then he is often too lazy to accurately recreate food recipes from pop culture. And yet somehow people began to see him as a culinary authority.

Ragusea - Many people dislike him because he is an arrogant prick. I do because he peddles stupid or wrong information and acts like he knows best. Seasoning the cutting board is the go to video people ridicule. However, it's even worse when he is a proponent of bad, potentially dangerous knife techniques. Especially his attitude towards the claw grip. Or when he is incapable of making a turkey that isn't a bland, dry slop that requires gravy to be edible. Ragusea's only redeeming quality is putting in the leg work to set up interviews with food industry workers and other interesting people. Seeing him occasionally go nuts in the comments can be entertaining.

"I want to LARP as a chef after I got kicked out of culinary school"

What a touchy fucking faggot.

I wouldn't say i Hate him fully yet, but count dankulas recent video about the move bombing has put into the lime light his habit of lying by omission or actively telling false info.
TL:DW danks video about the move bombing glossed over the actual shoot out between police and MOVE, ignoring move shooting at firefighters, the bunker on the roof being used to shoot at police and firefighters, the fact the makeshift bomb was aimed at said bunker but said bunker had fuel in/near it which lit the building on fire, and the fact move kept shooting at police until the end. Dank told a very bad version of events to shill his "government bad" message, of course this isnt new for him, his videos on the silk road and killdozer were also awful (he handwaved Ross Ulbricht's attempted hiring of two hitmen because both cases ended up being hoaxes played on him, and killdozer because he just used the facebook version of events that was totally false in most ways.) Really sad to see people treat him like someone who knows his shit and not some lazy scot who reads 1/4 of a wikipedia article and then makes a script about how gubment bad, monkee now.

I used to watch/use for background noise Game Sack until one of the two hosts left (can’t be bothered to look up their names.) The remaining guy just quickly outed himself as a dullard without anyone else. He’s not a bad guy or a political sperg or anything like that, just boring and kind of dumb

Dumbsville-The Max0r of movie reviewers. His older content where he would talk about bad actors in the sonic fanbase and such were fine however ever since he started "reviewing movies"[and by that I mean watching the movie and making bad jokes and then reviewing it in a minute at the end]he's gotten progressively worse. He now seems to think that filling the screen with as much shit as possible is funny and he can't seem to go five minutes without bringing up or referencing Drain music/ mentioning he's a drainer.
