As a black dude that grew up liking "white people music" this annoys me to no end. Most of the Rap and Hip Hop side of Youtube reactions don't interest me because it all sounds the same to me. Maybe this is how people feel about most music they grow up with but i was into more than just rap and most of the stuff I'm into now doesn't exceed the 2000s since it just sounds like noise with someone mumbling in my ear for a few minutes.

A lot of people see it like "bro don't you feel like you aren't the only one who sees it!" like yeah i and many do but now it's like i don't care since it's two dogs barking at each other from either side of the fence. There is no gain and not much loss when we are well over a decade into this shit and it feels nothing has changed that much. Get some ground there, lose some there but things are relatively the same.
As corny as this is I been listening to video game music mostly because a lot of the genres you hear aren't that big anymore (jungle and drum n bass were very big in the 2000s but relatively underground(ish) nowadays). I am so out of the loop with "black music" mostly because when someone like a coworker shows me a song it feels things ain't moved much since the mid 2010s and people are still rapping about the same shit or slurring their way through a song like they drunk and people think there is deeper subtext with it.
Why though? I kept up with his channel until about a year ago. He was never a fountain of unique wisdom but I liked seeing the worst of modern Hollywood paraded about as a freak show (it should be). I guess because he hasn't upgraded his format, I stopped watching him often as he seems stuck in 2016 like other right-wing reaction farms (TheQuickening, that kind of stuff).
