Anyway, the fam and I were browsing live tv earlier and saw that GMM has its own tv channel now...called Mythical Channel or something. Unbelievable, I thought. So now I've been reading up more on their latest ventures. For one thing, I didn't know they have pride merch. And have donated over $150K to lgbtqiawxyz charities. Of course.

You see this a lot with "culture war" people but in general it usually boils down to childish mudslinging. I don't mind it most of the time if there's just entertainment value i can detach from but that isn't the case since a lot of these types also take themselves too seriously.

I actually enjoy content like this, but I find this guy really hard to enjoy.

Firstly, his 'builds' are difficult to sit through. I think he's creative and got good ideas, but his execution is awful and he's continually having to fix issues that are purely down to him not being careful or overlooking simple shit. Half of his build videos are him fucking up through basic user error. It's a fairly common thing for these videos, but the constant fuck ups on his part are fucking tiring.

I also just don't like his voice and presenting either. He does this awkward, soft spoken tone of voice throughout the video which isn't awful but 30 minutes of it is difficult to get through. The way he presents the video too makes it feel like it's been choreographed and planned by some quirky Tumblr girl with the constant camera jumping, weird angles and random loud memes thrown around. For example, he cuts from him talking in his bedroom to suddenly he's laying in an actual field talking about another fuck up he made. I get it, he's trying to be artsy and creative, but it's fucking annoying. You can make the video entertaining without cutting to a shitty camera phone quality or sitting on the floor looking sad when your project doesn't work out.

I hate this Dead Meat guy so much. I hate how he's the biggest horror youtuber and how he has sway in the industry now. Unfunny, unoriginal. Constantly poo-poos scenes in older horror films for being "erm awkward, that was homophobic/transphobic/racist/sexist". Also he seems like a closet fag.

I don’t know if a lot of people like them per say, but I really hate seeing those game clips channels with titles like “The developer never thought you’d do this…” or “They really thought of everything in this game…” and it’s just a character walking forward or something fuckin stupid like that. He also shows that his only understanding of Thomas Hobbes’s philosophy is skimming the ai summary Google wrote him.

American Psychos and his subsequent sperging on his second channel felt the same way. It’s like a teenager realizing the that the world and the country he lives in isn’t absolutely perfect for the very first time.
