All these YouTube channels that literally dont get to the fucking point to delay their video, seriously makes me sick. One thing to give some background info it's another to literally just hear yourself talk.

Midnight's Edge immediately comes to mind. Droning on for the first several minutes of each video with things like "In this video, I will explain to you what this video will be about.", "in our previous videos, we mentioned..." for the next several minutes, and then one line that "maybe we might've heard from someone we think might've heard a rumor possibly" that's "news". They feel like those clickbait articles where you need to click to a new page for the next paragraph for like 10 pages to finally get to the thing the article advertised.

Clownfish TV is another of the same type of YouTuber who just shovels out videos that are a waste of time, but are successful because people love anything that's their opinions being spoken back to them. 10 minutes of shilling and beating around the bush, then something that's small and not really interesting that they just repeat and regurgitate for 20 minutes.

A majority of youtubers who use a genderbent or quirky/cutesy cartoon avatar of themselves, especially the ones who make videos about their "hot takes". Their's obvious exceptions but a bunch of them come off as pretentious cunts huffing their own farts.

They're liked the most for their commentary on not just the game, but also about anything that comes to their minds. They generally just give off that feeling of hanging on a couch with your bros.

It's not everyone's cup of tea, and that's understandable, considering what kind of stuff they say and how they act at times.

Im not an authority here as i dont play videogames, but i started with watching jon era game grumps as my first play channel.

It felt cozy, real and most importantly, was funny. (And Jon had game history knowledge so that gave him a hit of authority or audience interest)
I like honsetly in a lp. Then Jon left and that pedantic, sleazy fuck they replaced him with came in.
I feel like there's a line between a more crude and homey game channel and one that feels more corporate or sanitized with fake reactions and weak ass takes. Or jut a more honest or offensive personality vs something who drops vowels or letters from words. (Matt muscles saying: wuh happun? And the like makes me want to assault his ass and never watch super best friends)

If you watch more than one oney plays vid tjen you can usually gleam context, but i understand the frustration of not getting the joke as a freshie or new watcher.

I never understood this. Every single time I looked at his channel, he actively has a variety of videos, none of them are FnaF.

I do dislike how all of his videos are bad fan fiction. It's too bad, because I like MatPat as a person.

I watch a few of The Fandom Menace Youtubers. They can get a little repetitive, but the professional ones like EVS and Nerdrotic are good for me to throw on when I'm working on 40k stuff etc.

I noticed a new guy getting a bunch of run in the last six months or so - AZ, aka "Heel vs Babyface". I don't know if he has compromising pictures of everyone in that niche or what, but he's been accepted with wide open arms. The guy is just not that funny and he makes very basic,predictable takes. At least Doomcock has some rumors and sources, albeit not entirely reliable, to build content over. With AZ it's lots of "Brie Larson is terrrrrible." Plus he's rude and talks over people when on group livestreams. For a while his shtick was an annoying clown horn. And he is reeeaaaallly creepy during the rare times the subject turns to sex.

Agreed, I really dont understand why every game channel now needs to have a face cam. Nobody wants to look at your ugly mug, I'd rather see the same gameplay on loop 20x.

Gmanlives is damn good at understanding this, hence why he's my favorite (read:the only tolerable) gaymer youtuber out there.

Another example of this is SunnyV2. Dude makes great content, and is one of the best E-celeb "biographers" out there, but his face is not a welcome sight.


One that I think is okay but getting stale fast is the Critical Drinker, who has essentially made the same exact video for the past 3 months.
