Over the years you can see him change in real time, and the "ZP [insert year here] all videos" makes it easier to do so. Before he actually gave a shit and ripped on things that deserved to be ripped, but then somewhere along the line he got sick and tired of it to where now he tries to be that contrarian asshole that acts that way just for the sake of being contrarian, and it just comes off more annoying than funny because he sounds no different from any other reviewer or "journalist" that has an obvious political bent.

Compounding this issue is that the praise is so shallow ("Grug like Switch, Grug like upgraded Switch"), before he got lobotomized he could at least agree that the Switch 2 didn't introduce some retarded gimmick everyone would get bored with after a year.

You're right, in his later years he just pretends to go with what's popular. Ironically his dying channel would get more views had they actually talked on unpopular opinions, instead of cosying up to Nintendo fans who already watch their own child molester Nintendo YouTubers.

The newest Fully Ramblomatic isn't even a review, it's a short overview of 6 games and you're supposed to vote on which game yahtzee reviews next...instead of just reviewing them right there and then, rapid fire style, I guess engagement is at an all time low.

It's like they are stuck a decade in the past (which is common to many leftists), not realising that those topics are old and cringey, with the people still caring having their own carved out niche.

The channel is just drifting aimlessly, slowly bleeding out funds while not doing anything different than The Escapist days. Really make the name amusingly ironic.

"What is this, 2015?" is exactly what I thought when I saw these videos. Nick has no fucking clue what he wants to do with his channel, he just assumes that as long as he got Yahtzee and the sponsorships he will make the money somehow.
BTW Blades of whatever, the recent forgettable souls clone, has quite a few boy grooming/rape jokes in it. What will your allies say about this crass and disgusting humour, Ben? All this coming from the same guy who spend half of his 5 minute review crying about JK Rowling being "transphobic" btw.

This fucking game came out on June 10th. It is now July 9th, almost exactly a month later. Not only does no one give a shit about Elon Musk, but why the fuck I don't know... talk about this crappy game 3 weeks ago when it was still getting media attention for being shit?

He even mentions that he knows everyone else already talked about this crap weeks ago.

Also, I've commented on this before but it's still an oddity to me. What the fuck is the point of a video that's 6:14 when the first 20 seconds of the video is nothing, and the last minute of the video is nothing? It's almost 1/4 of the runtime of the video that doesn't have anything to do with anything. Sure it's scrolling patreon names. Josh Strife Hayes manages to do the same thing with all of the names on screen for 10 seconds... at the end of a video that's usually at least 30 minutes long.

I skipped around the video but it's somehow both safe centrist and hypocritical. Safe centrist because he plays both sides (but mainly kisses up to his own clique) and hypocritical because he tries to argue how OBVIOUSLY human hands are better than AI in everything, despite the entire argument hinging on how AI is a threat.

In the end the real irony is the fact he is doing the MY IP shtick while using a clearly infringed IP from his old site.
