I don't know if it was intentional or just happenstance but they all played a roll. Beattie was the fact checker with all the specifics, Greenwald delivered the big picture narrative (it was a shame the shit show cut off his closing) and Jones was the only person capable of wresting control the debate from Tiny and putting them on the backfoot... I would have liked to see Greenwald doing that task but I don't think it was in the cards given the webcam and Alex's mere presence.
