It's normal for those kinds of jobs to be seasonal, it says "seasonal" in the title for a fucking reason. They need extra staff to run their store so little Jimmy can get his Xbox games for Christmas (and the day after it for when they get an Xbox or a Gamestop Gift Card). They're also dead end jobs, and even working a regular shift at GameStop isn't that great.
