Pleasantly suprised. Once again annoyed by the whole "hurr durr alt-righter" shit. Especially mentioning QAnon, we literally have thread after thread on right wingers. But at least they gave credit where credit is due.
 
The music choices. The dramatic stings. The camera angles.

By playing it as straight as they could AMC has ironically done a wonderful job making it impossible to take this serious. There are fucking youtubers that have done less to deligitimize this whole scandal than AMC has by combining serious stings with a fat bitch and her spook-cards being followed up by some faggot in a goofy costume.

I'm trying my best to imagine a scenario where my parents don't laugh at this. I can't think of a single person I know in the real world who would take zoophiles in the furry fandom seriously when this is the most "legitimate" covering it has. Adults who aren't internet adults are going to think AMC is the best coverage something this serious will get. To cover it like they have has done more damage to any public perception of this shit than any nigger-saying youtube edgefag ever could. It's admittedly infuriating.

Asking for Kiwifarms to be 'credited' on a furnigger documentary is no different from asking every furfag that watches to come here in droves, shitting things up. Nobody can control who reads it and decides to visit, Josh makes posts every other year about why the forums got shutdown or fucked with because the newest group of users are somehow more retarded than the last. Everybody enjoys good company, but we can't guarantee that.

Also placing such importance on 'credit' is gay and retarded, only children or the mentally ill are this concerned with internet recognition.

I fucking love that "Balldoverse Collapse" and the name Nick Rekieta are right there front and center in a published TV documentary. Their research on KF still sucks, desperately trying to link the website to QAnon (a movement that has been routinely mocked on this site since 2017) because Null worked for Jim Watkins 12 years ago is laughably lazy.

Null talks nothing but shit on Jim and his son Ron nowadays, moreover, he's spent the last 10 years verbally eviscerating Hotwheels any chance he gets.

At the very least they should make new group terms for this place.
I'm more upset they didn't just look at the name kiwi farm, and just make up "the site name is a bird, these are evil furry hackers," and then call the owner "the top dog of internet terrorism" while showing slobbermutt on screen with scary music.

I don't rate a piece of journalism on how truthful it is. but how funny it sounds.
I guarantee you. if the coverage of Kiwi farms was handled like this,
everyone here would be praising it:

Either way they needed better writers that actually had a vision for this mockumentary

The thing that kills me is that I actually had a half-mind to write up a screenplay for a documentary about this shit like, last year.
First part would have covered how the initial leaks happened, and provided information on the people who were called out on twitter.
Part 2 would have talked about how Doug Spinks was involved and dropped the entire uncensored version of the leaks, child porn and all.
Part 3 is where you'd actually start to break down the leak contents: what happens in the chats, who these people are, and what they really did. Starting small and working up to the worst offenders.
However, as i don't have contacts in hollywood i never thought to do much with this idea.

Also I absolutely expected worse coverage from a normie documentary. The guy in the full dog fursuit was shockingly fair to us. "I don't agree with everything they do but they totally deserve credit for this one" is about as fair as I'd ask for, really.
 
Love to see us mentioned in a mainstream documentary, but I don’t like that we were mentioned in a poor light.

huh, I didn't know that's why he dumped that version (or i forgot).

I wonder if they have an explaination for the random users and messages that were fully blanked from the chats? I've found a lot of weird comments that lead to deleted content in there in my current work and it's very strange.
