It's just... Bad.What about his clearing bucket?
And also example #4141 of why troons ruin everything they touch.
"Edit: Looks like they posted this in their private group and their posse of brigadiers are already in the comment thread. Way to validate my entire review, guys.
Armed Equality: C
Armed Equality is a spinoff of Pink Pistols, a LGBT 2nd Amendment organization. From second-hand sources (no direct confirmation), I hear that Armed Equality was formed after its founder, Piper Smith, had a falling-out with Pink Pistols. Again, I've yet to get any confirmation from Pink Pistols or anyone in that organization, so take that with a grain of salt.
On the surface, Armed Equality’s mission seems honorable: To promote 2nd Amendment advocacy and self-defense among the LGBT community. I’ve always believed that the best way to defend the 2nd Amendment is to take left-right partisanship out of the equation. Therefore, the 2A community needs people who don’t fit the stereotype of the old, white, Republican gun owner in order to promote an alternative narrative that can be consumed by people who are left-of-center. And what is a better alternative narrative than a group of LGBT gun owners advocating for the 2A. Despite Armed Equality’s influence being limited to the lower California area, they’re able to reach out to demographics that groups like the NRA, GOA, and FPC cannot, which is an impressive accomplishment. Liberals and most LGBT people will just ignore and tune out anything someone from the NRA or GOA is going to say. But when they see a booth at Pride Parade about LGBT gun owners, that is more likely to pique their interest and get them to listen. That being said, I'm not convinced of their ability to effect change among left-leaning politicians. California continues to push an onslaught of gun control bills and I doubt Armed Equality, or any left-leaning 2A orgs, have been able to convince Democratic politicians to drop gun control.
One of Armed Equality’s other objectives is to promote inclusion and diversity in the 2A community. This is something I generally welcome for the purposes of fighting aforementioned stereotypes, and as a method to unite all types of gun owners. However, what I don’t welcome is the kind of childish bullshit you see among Social Justice and Leftist/Progressive groups. Which leads me to why I’m only giving this group a C.
Ironically, in its quest to promote tolerance and inclusion, and to address toxicity in the 2A community, Armed Equality has become intolerant, exclusive, and toxic themselves.
First, I’ve noticed that on both their public-facing Facebook page, as well as their closed Group, they frequently post content that I can only describe as attention-seeking, self-victimizing, and downright narcissistic. Examples include complaining about “cis-het white men”, bragging about how many people you block, posting screenshots of hate mail, and rants about “transphobia” over light-hearted jokes. The one thing AE has in common with SJW groups is that they really, REALLY, can’t take a joke. Oh, are you wearing a shirt that has a picture of an AR-15 and a caption that reads “My AR-15 identifies as a flintlock?” Congratulations, you're a transphobe.
Second, Armed Equality has a particularly problematic habit of burning bridges as fast as they build them. This is perhaps the most important issue, and the main reason why I’m writing this review. Armed Equality attempts to make allies within the rest of the 2A community, but as soon as those people do something that pisses Piper off, such as making an off-color joke, or not meeting 100% of her expectations or demands, she cuts ties and writes an inflammatory post on the private group, which indirectly sics her posse to brigade and harass them on social media. This is classic toxic behavior from SJW circles. There are 3 distinct events that I remember (and there might be more). First was Official Black Guns Matter Page_Maj Toure. Maj Toure is another 2A champion who is also trying to promote outreach to minority groups and (to my knowledge) have been in a few panels with AE regarding inclusion in the 2A community. However, Maj made a few jokes about trans people and suddenly he became persona non grata to them.
The second was stilettosandshotguns, a woman advocate of the 2A. She made one Instagram post with a personal opinion on the bathroom debate and AE essentially had people brigade her social media account and call her a TERF (Trans-Exclusive-Radical-Feminist) and some other acronyms that basically called her a rape apologist. The last and most recent event was with Rob Pincus. Now, regardless of what you think of Rob, he has been one of the loudest voices for positive change in the NRA. From what I know, Piper complained to Rob that the NRA convention is to be held in a state that just banned adoptions for same-sex couples (Tennessee). Whatever Rob’s response was turned out to be absolutely unacceptable to Piper, to the extent that Piper banned Rob from the Armed Equality group, and wrote a long rant in the group that, among other things, accused Rob of sexually harassing women. I think it’s a complete jerk move to basically pull a #metoo on someone over a disagreement on the NRA convention venue. The messed up part is that only a few weeks ago did Piper hail Rob Pincus as a hero who stood up for inclusivity in the 2A community. To sum it up, Armed Equality has been a textbook example of why intersectionalism doesn’t work. In an effort to promote inclusivity, Armed Equality has become extremely exclusive and toxic to many people in the 2A community.
I want the 2A community to be more inclusive and want to support groups such as Armed Equality. However, in my opinion, they’re becoming the exact toxic and problematic entity that they claim they’re fighting against. If they really want to be a positive influence on the 2A community, then they really need to start picking their battles more wisely, or else they’ll soon find out that they’ll have no more allies.
I’m sure this page will be mass-brigaded with comments calling me a cis-het male NAH-ZEE pretty soon. See you next year."

I don't know why people are rating you late... the Yankee Marshall has been mentioned briefly but I've never heard of Armed Equality...At the cost of newfagging, this thread can mainly be used for talking about drama within the firearm community right? I don't know if you guys are familiar with the time that Yankee Marshall decided to go to CHAZ to "show that it wasn't that bad" and then got beat up for it. There's also Armed Equality, an LGBT group that manages to do more to support tranny rights than actual gun rights, and then there's the whole thing with TKB.
Can I put that here?
more or less but they have guns now.So the typical SJW/trannoid demented grift?
John Brown-Eye Gun ClubThey're like a more unhinged SRA.
How the fuck does a 4 year old show signs of trooning out?Funnily enough, they consider the SRA allies.
One of my friends left because someone was talking about how "they'd encourage their kid to turn trans if their four year old 'started showing the signs'".
I know what it means, but my mind refuses to acknowledge its true meaning.
Oh that's what the number we're up to now?
Okay, some background. "I Rate Your Gun Page" is a fagbook page that basically does that- It rates gun pages/companies based on behavior and how they are. They're pretty innocuous, but they gave Armed Equality a bad review which basically got Armed Equality's rabid community to try and raid them. They do a better job of making an ass of themselves than anything else.
Tl;dr A guy reviews a firearm group, points out their shit and misgivings alongside generously giving them a C. They brigade his comments and get mad at him, calling the owner of the page of a Nazi. I should mention the owner of said page is a minority, but won't say of what ethnic origin.
I want to do an interest cheeck. Given that's only a taste of what they've done, should I post more?
Edit: Should I also post/talk about the executive protection story? Basically, AE claimed that they had "credible death threats" at 2020 Shot Show and was told by the LVMPD that instead of them being able to help, that they should hire executive protection to shadow them. Now, that all being said, that story doesn't check out. If there was an active threat against them, why would it be taken out at a firearm trade show event? Also, why would a police force tell someone to hire executive protection when they could just as easily be running arrests or waiting outside the event in case something happened?
"The secret is lying .png."
Anyway, they GoFundMe'd like 11k for a one week event and pocketed the rest of the money to no one's surprise.
I was a part of the firearm activism community for awhile and left a couple years back, but it hasn't been good for me. I'll say that much without giving more away. How the fuck does a 4 year old show signs of trooning out?
These people need to be actually murdered. Not in fucking Minecraft.
Is Piper still dating Carissa aka CarissaXAnne? Because if so, damn poor Carissa went from one unstable troon to another in the span of a few weeks (she used to date the singer Bunny Bennett of Steam Powered Giraffe, a whole unrelated rabbithole, so to speak).
What's the story there?Yep, quite an upgrade for poor Carissa. RIP
Also..."Life Member at NRA"? Damn even the boomercon containment org is not immune to troonery.
Before Piper, Carissa dated another troon named Bunny (Christopher) Bennett, who with twin brother David Michael runs a vaguely steampunk-themed band/performance art group called Steam Powered Giraffe. In fact, I think Carissa was even suckered into being their social media person and/or their merch lady, among other things. The twins are both 50 shades of nuts in their own separate ways, and word is Bunny was a bit-ahem-slappy in the throes of >her moods. Eventually, Bunny either tired of Carissa and fired her, or Carissa had a sudden flash of self-respect, broke it off, and was fired in retaliation. This is all trivia, of course, but a testament to the degrees of misery that a tranny chaser will subject themselves to for their obsession. What's the story there?
Goddamn I could never expect to see those spergs mentioned in the GunTuber thread, even if it's just adjacent. Still funny that their popularity dropped through the floor as he transitioned.Bunny (Christopher) Bennett, who with twin brother David Michael runs a vaguely steampunk-themed band/performance art group called Steam Powered Giraffe
At the risk of derailing even further, the transition was only the tip of the iceberg. They had a bad habit of promoting the more articulate tumblr fans to positions of greater power such as chat mods, forum moderators, etc. Naturally, this fostered a culture of resentment and the engineering of drama, featuring tumblrinas, tumblerettes, and miscellaneous bunselves that we need not delve into here. Random hate blogs would spring up every few months, as these clout chasers became disillusioned with competing for attention from the twins, accusing them of all manner of problematic things like racism, sexism, transphobia, etc. By far the greatest bombshell came last summer when Bunny announced that they had fired bandmate Michael Reed (again) for creeping on some minor fangirls at cons/meetups, and she made it even worse when she acknowledged that they had known of previous infractions. Then their sound guy got busted for similar shit, which of course the butthurt hatebloggers attempted to capitalize on as much as any obese and/or medicated intellect can muster.Goddamn I could never expect to see those spergs mentioned in the GunTuber thread, even if it's just adjacent. Still funny that their popularity dropped through the floor as he transitioned.
Look how well the MR 73's have been selling in the US since Beretta took over Chapuis Armes and actually starting marketing the Manurhin properly.Hey lads, with the French being 93 Billion poorer and knee deep in welfare queen immigrants that dream of them finally selling off their FAMAS rifles in parts kits in a similar matter to Spain and the CETME-L draws closer.
Beretta is one of the few Euro companies that knows how to sell in the US (Sig is another, but their current product line is gay). I have a feeling a lot of Euro gun companies feel they will receive backlash if their products end up being used by MK-ULTRA assets and thus reframe from properly exploring the US market.Look how well the MR 73's have been selling in the US since Beretta took over Chapuis Armes and actually starting marketing the Manurhin properly.
