Who archived the stream? I tried to but everytime I try to download a fresh stream with youtubedl I get an error and I'm too boomer and technologically impaired to even attempt to fix it.

Had similar issues. This thread should help. Basically run it with --abort-on-unavailable-fragment option. The only issue is it looks like it takes 10 minutes to finally exit gracefully. I haven't tried it. I found it after the stream.

I'm interested in the other thread, I've tried to read a bit of /vt/ but I just can't find the motivation to wade through all that.. The Hololive subreddit to too moderated to get any fun out of. This thread is ok but I can see a few posters making it on that thread.

I wanna see non-fan's opinions on vtubers in general. The main complaints seems to be pedophiles and sexualizing little 2d girls. Just sticking to Hololive, who are the lolis I'm supposed to be drooling over.. Aqua, Rushia, Pekora, Luna and Shion? Maybe Gura but not really? I'm more into boomer pirates cosplayers and psycho singing Tetris masters.

I think it's more than that. For example vtuber clips have been making their way onto the front page of r/livestreamfail recently since Youtube added that clip feature, usually one every other day. Cutting out all the usual pedophile accusations and normies not getting vtubers, a lot of the people there just don't find the clips funny. And I have to agree, Gura effortlessly harmonizing with herself and Kronii getting stalked by Irys probably aren't kicking anyone down the vtuber rabbit hole. Are we only finding all these vtuber youtube clips funny cus we're invested in these girl's backstories, lore and relationships.

There’s always that one clip or video of someone’s that gets you interested in their other content, and it can be different for everyone. Once you get attached to that person, you’ll find the content more enjoyable or funny because you’re a fan of that particular person.

You just need to see that one clip that makes you think “huh, I wonder what else they’ve done…”
