And a place for people to sperg about how much they hate vtubers and how they're so much better than the people into them, if some of the current posts are anything to go by.It seems more like a /vt/ hate thread in all honesty. Which is fine by me.
Eh, we arent doing anything wrong nor illegal, and aside from a few selected people, none of us powerlevels enough to be in danger.
Ignoring it is probably the best course of actions since it isnt about this thread in specific, and null has us in a short leash anyway

Had similar issues. This thread should help. Basically run it with --abort-on-unavailable-fragment option. The only issue is it looks like it takes 10 minutes to finally exit gracefully. I haven't tried it. I found it after the stream.Anyhow.
Who archived the stream? I tried to but everytime I try to download a fresh stream with youtubedl I get an error and I'm too boomer and technologically impaired to even attempt to fix it.
The ceiling to that is "Eh, it's weird and I don't understand it" and the floor is "Vtubers and their fans are a scourge that should be purged." Everything in between are just gonna be walls of text that swing either towards the floor or the ceiling.I wanna see non-fan's opinions on vtubers in general.
Given the subject matter the jannies knew that it's most likely gonna devolve into either a hate circlejerk or an autistic war between fans and detractors.Well the other thread already went to Community Watch and is now Infected. Is that a farms record?
It already has. I'm sure we'll see a marriage between the people who dislike streamer culture in general, and those who dislike anything anime related.I went to /vt/ once and it seemed like an utter shitshow, so I can see a thread about it working fine. But I know how threads like that can attract the “I don’t like this thing and just want to shit on anything related to it” people like a lot of those threads in Internet Famous….but I won’t be going in the thread, so meh.

There IS a reason I don't come here anymore outside of this thread and the occasional drama nuke...Given the subject matter the jannies knew that it's most likely gonna devolve into either a hate circlejerk or an autistic war between fans and detractors.
I saw and replied actually.Oh shit, the new thread even shouted out our boy @Nolan Crush , you're famous dude!
Josh should feel right at home there. It already has. I'm sure we'll see a marriage between the people who dislike streamer culture in general, and those who dislike anything anime related.
I think it's more than that. For example vtuber clips have been making their way onto the front page of r/livestreamfail recently since Youtube added that clip feature, usually one every other day. Cutting out all the usual pedophile accusations and normies not getting vtubers, a lot of the people there just don't find the clips funny. And I have to agree, Gura effortlessly harmonizing with herself and Kronii getting stalked by Irys probably aren't kicking anyone down the vtuber rabbit hole. Are we only finding all these vtuber youtube clips funny cus we're invested in these girl's backstories, lore and relationships. The ceiling to that is "Eh, it's weird and I don't understand it" and the floor is "Vtubers and their fans are a scourge that should be purged." There. Saved you the time and effort sifting through it.
There’s always that one clip or video of someone’s that gets you interested in their other content, and it can be different for everyone. Once you get attached to that person, you’ll find the content more enjoyable or funny because you’re a fan of that particular person.I think it's more than that. Of course they won't. They're clips. That's like delivering the punchline without providing context which is:a lot of the people there just don't find the clips funny
