I think phil knows saying outright denying this could have tricky legal implications. This is real life shit, and could bite phil in the ass if he gets in trouble for perjury or fraud or something.

The whole bankruptcy arc always felt very hap hazard to me.
Granted I don't live in Burgerland I have a limited understanding of how it works there, but in my neck of the woods he would never have been granted it.

He listed microtransactions as business expenses, he told them it's business related. Those boomers didn't even know what Paypal is.
I wouldn't be surprised if those "behind the scenes conversations" Phil claimed to have with Nancy and with the judge were basically them asking him about iTunes expenses and Phil pigsplaining that those were business related.
Maybe some detractor contacted her about that and Phil had to explain that he is stalked by mentally ill trolls that were lying to her. And apparently she bought it, so yeah, she's a retard.

She didn't. Phil told her they were business-related microtransactions. She wasn't going to watch his stream to see that he never spent a dime on them while "working" and also outright denied that he was blowing money on them. If a creditor had said "Hey, we're not buying this," there may have been a deeper dive, but they didn't and Phil has no assets to seize (lol) so he got his six figure tip from the court.

Those MLB streams were the best. Now knowing that he spends money on booze like Cobra does when he gets that Juan money, it’s clear that he used those streams to pre-game for after the stream.
Getting warmed up for some WWE Champions with a nice gin and tonic, one hand down his pants while he spins that gacha all night and making salty gin tweets.
All she had to do is ask for videos or provide any proof he's using it for business. They didn't check if any of the info was true.

Phil probably thought buying SE's would get him more. I would've loved to see his face when the clerk told him they only accept the disc's.
It's definitely one of the bigger cheapskate moves Phil's done. His cult isn't even worth store credit.

It really gives an insight into how Phil views his fans. At the time Youtube was much less interactive as he likes to say, so it was very easy for him to see them as a nameless blob of people who watch his stuff. If he screws them over, what were they gonna do, write a strongly worded complaint in the Youtube comments?
He pretends to be sociable with them now, but it's clear to anyone paying attention that he still sees his viewers the exact same way. They are beneath his contempt. Worthless people who tithe him money, nothing more.
