Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

And if I see one more smarmy slimy liberal saying "Well, America destroyed their countries..."

No, fuck you, hippy faggot. They destroyed their countries. We didn't bomb them, we didn't wipe out their infrastructure, the fact they're all corrupt, greedy, ignorant fucking savages and fuckups is why their countries are destroyed, stop trying to blame the US for everything.
The proper response is, if we devastated their countries, why are they now coming to us? I thought we were hated there. :(

The Clintons did fuck with Haiti, but we don't claim them.

The gall of Psaki pulling the Beau card over DRONING KIDS. Stfu.

@Gehenna Dems have hit a whole new level of sweaty with this infrastructure bill shit lmao, it's beautiful to watch. Now they're trying to link the suspension of the debt ceiling to the bill's passing.

This is bizarre because the GOP and thinking Dems are already pissed that they keep linking unrelated things together. The parliamentarian just bitchslapped them for sneaking unrelated stuff into reconciliation. And now they're just openly saying, "You know that bill everyone hates? Do the other thing you said you wouldn't do, or we won't pass it!"

This is the "good" version of the bill, of course, but it's like got a spackle of brass on a turd compared to the heaps of putrid shit they usually serve up. It's not much better.

You're hysterical over a deal going sour that will only be brought up by political junkies as a trivia question over the coming decade. Calm down dude.
No one is hysterical. Stop. You came in hot because I used all caps, and it was weird.

> Pelosi and Schumer said they would attach a debt-ceiling suspension to the government-funding bill
> McConnell quickly struck down the idea, saying the GOP would not vote for the legislation.
> Dems effectively dared McConnell to vote for the US to default on its debt, and he met their dare.

Dems FAAFO LMAO Cocaine Turtle at it again

Joe Biden may be the Democratic Party, but Mitch McConnell is the Senate, as demonstrated by the fact the Dems keep ceding that ground to him every time they try. I'm sure someone could whip up the appropriate meme if anyone cared enough.

Playing chicken when you've showed the world just how toothless you are doesn't sound like a good gambit, but here we are with slave allegory whippings, pissing off europe, multiple schisms on multiple fronts, another biblical fucking flood that might be happening, the CA faultlines having an aneurysm, something about thots putting down the propaganda machine, and then a literal geriatric as president.

At this point I expect things to get worse. Like not only is the DNC going to call their bluff, the DNC will probably try embezzling the shit out of what's left, and then stupidly dumping it in the ocean, and then it somehow ending up in China.

Which the Chinks will promptly try eating instead of using to unfuck their real estate bullshit.
Then blame the subsequent poisonings from eating money to the french because the chinese are fucking stupid.
And then out of spite try murdering baguettes, creating some sort of dust bowl or something.
Which then, somehow create a food shortage panic because people on twitter are stupid - and think the toilet paper hoax that came from Australia applied to literally everyone, so why not this one.
And then the Sigma Variant of Covid appears and someone creates the Repliforce to try and combat it.

if I've learned one thing about american politics, it's that presidents + administrations come and go, even congress sands may shift over time, but whatever you do you do not play chicken with the senate turtle.

As much as he'd deserve it, this is why I don't want Trump to primary Mitch. He's really good at sticking the knife in when it comes to just sheer procedural obstruction. It drives the Dems insane.

I realize government shutdowns have rippling effects, but goddammit, it's the politicians' fault that they always put it off and try to make it into some dramatic showdown. It's the only accountability they will ever face, so bring it on.

I highly doubt Trump intends to actually primary the Turtle. It's a warning, a setup. "I intend to run again, I intend to win, stand in my way and I will take us both down screaming".

You think Trump will have the legs to be in the public eye and relevant till 2024? That is an eternity in political years isn't it?

If anything, shouldn't the California recall fiasco show that, as much as Trump is liked by his base, as long as he is around, the dems will always have his ghost to point to. Shouldn't someone try to make a deal with him and let the GOP organize for someone else?

I'm close to agreeing, but I also know they would just find a new Literally Hitler. It's pointless to throw a candidate out in hopes they'll leave you alone. (This is why I admire Trump sticking up for Kavanaugh.)

We -still- mention Reagan. Trump is the party face, its driver, the person setting the policy of its voters. He'll be relevant long after he's -dead-.

And the Dems can point to his ghost all they want, it's actively hurting them with Biden in office. "Yah, I remember Orange Man... he bombed a single guy and not 7 kids. Oh yah, I remember Orange Man, prices went down under him.. oh yah... Orange Man, the guy who wanted to take on the people who created Wu Flu..."

That reminding people cuts both ways.

Who else, though? And you forget that so long as the various leftist wings keep reeing about Trump and Trumpism he's not gone from politics. Rent fucking free from 2015-2021 and counting. Best real estate deal in the history of real estate deals, ever.

Well, the GOP has a bit of a problem on its hands when it comes to replacing Trump, doesn't it? Republican voters are sick of RINOs so a moderate establishment pick that Dems will accept (and never vote for anyways) will piss them off and a populist pick will just have the Dems accuse the Republicans of continuing Trumpism.

Yep.

I figured the plan was have trump shunned. To have tech platforms shun him and then to have all the media outlets ignore him. Fucking playing by harry potter rules....sigh

I thought it would work too, but the issue is that the collation of "fuck trump" the adults are back at the wheel etc. Cant seem to stop bring his name up. Trump didnt give us a plan etc.

It would almost make sense for biden to just pardon all the jan 6 people have a nice photo op full of speeches about forgiveness and unity.

Then he shits himself and makes the pardon clean it.

It means that as long as California hasn't slipped into the ocean the GOP will never win a popular vote victory unless Kamala Harris comes back to Sacramento and throws a black troon from the roof of the state Capitol while cackling maniacally and high-fiving Gavin Newsom. Luckily Trump doesn't need the popular vote to actually win and it's just a very annoying cope from the Democrats, large parts of his base will refuse to vote for anybody but him so the Republicans running anyone else is a non starter.

@Gehenna

Any comment on Michael Gableman s video or is it something you cant touch for reasons
I cannot say anything regarding election investigations in Wisconsin. I'm not under an NDA, but my boss does actually check in here since I frequent it during work hours. Your guy's entertainment ain't worth my job.

Ask him what is permisible to share with concerned public if his answer is Nada then we will just accept that but i dont think the question itself should give you trouble.
