As nice of a sentiment that is, where I'm at shit doesn't change unless all the proles are literally rioting in the streets. Yeah most people do, I "lucked out" and got the Pfizer one. I mentioned Japan before, but it's unsettling how they pretty much all wear "face masks" all the time, from what I can see. Last fall it seemed they were finally removing the masks, but then came "delta strain". For example, on Yahoo! JAPAN news, it seems every photo with people shows them wearing "face masks" - no matter what they're doing. Combined with the problems of modern Japan before the coof - like death from overwork or declining births - and this is not good for mental health.

Face masks are much more normalized in Japan than western cultures because even pre-COVID Japanese people would wear masks in public when they were sick as it was considered just a polite thing to do.

That is true, I'd believe it since the Chink shot barely works anyway. I saw a story that like 300 Healthcare workers in Myanmar or Indonesia or something caught covid even if they had the Chink shot. Most people don't like the Chink shot here cause collectively we don't trust the Chinks, but it's the most available so whatever. From the times I've visited pre-covid they like their masks, especially when its cold out. Hell I was wearing them cause my lips get chapped like crazy in the cold. Personally I think a lot of them wear it, particularly chicks, cause they don't like how they look and can hide their fucked up teeth and chins if they wear em.

The problem is that these days science has to be rewritten every few months. People knew about cytocine storms and hyperinflammation since last year, but since politicians and whorenalists are infallible, science has to be declared new and revolutionary all the time when said politicians and whorenalists contradict themselves yet again.
Early on, politicians were all about the scary intubation and bought thousands of ventilators. So "science" had to follow suit and come up with reasons why intubating works instead of saying that it's fucking dangeorus instead.
Hyperinflammation could be treatable. But politicians early on went all in on the vaccines to save us all, so prophylactics and early treatments are not really part of "science" anymore.
Vaccinating with a leaky vaccine during peak pandemic times has been well established to be absolute garbage, but in motherfucking clown world, this virus is completely different and none of the rules apply.
So don't expect anything to be known, logical, or sensible. "The Science" is correct. Politically correct in the traditional sense of the word, that is.
