It's not like Kiwifarms is much better with this. The old 90s-early 00s golden days of my Internets are ancient history.
At least your comment doesn't get muted after enough downvotes. Easily the dumbest feature reddit could implement as it meant people could just silence you. However you are correct, those days are over and it's scary thinking of what the future of the internet will be like. Most likely very policed and censored(I am aware it's already happened in some sites).

Youtube auto deleting my comments, because they don't like the words I use is one dumb example.

The difference is downvotes on Reddit bury the disagreeable comment to never be seen again, and upvotes propel certain comments to the top. I've seen game devs on Reddit have to make threads about an upcoming change to their game and request the mods sticky it, because the community is so pissed off they mass downvote any dev post and it's impossible for them to actually share news about updates and whatnot.

I've always hated the idea of hiding posts that get downvoted. Hell, I've never even liked the idea of upvotes/downvotes because it breeds a community that just talk in circles about things they know are agreeable to farm upvotes/thumbs ups/whatever you want call them. In that sense, KiwiFarms is unironically one of the least biased places of discussion. You could say dumb shit and get slapped with an autism sticker, but at the end of the day it has no bearing on the actual content of your post. It doesn't become hidden or pushed down, it's just a public indicator of what the community thinks of your post.

True it's not quite as bad but the simple fact is the stickers incentivize people to post dumb shit that gets them more positive stickers for that sweet dopamine hit. The content of this site would absolutely be different if it didn't have the voting system.

If Mt. Rainier erupted like Mt. St. Helens did in 1980, the cities of Renton, Auburn, Kent, Enumclaw, Buckley, Puyallup, Tacoma, Bonney Lake, and parts of Seattle would be destroyed by lahar flows. It could kill hundreds of thousands and displace millions. But Phil doesn’t even know what Mt. Rainer is, that is part of the Himalayan mountains right?

When I was at my alcoholic peak, I was drinking about a fifth + a pint a day. Usually Canadian Club which is pretty cheap and shitty whiskey, like $12 for a fifth, so I was spending ~$120 a week on drink. I was hospitalized about a half a dozen times for pancreatitis over the course of a few years which is when I quit (2013). If it wasn't literally killing me, I'd have probably quit around the same time regardless because as I got older, hangovers would effect me for longer and would be much worse. That's one thing that surprises me about Phil. He's definitely an alcoholic and gambling addict because I see all the signs in him, but I'm surprised at his age that he isn't visibly worse off, especially due to hangovers. He can still be considered an alcoholic and not be putting away as much as I was at my worst, so that could explain it. Kat could be drinking some of it too. I'm not gonna get all into it because it's far more complex than just one thing but, like a lot of addicts, I fell into addiction partly because of things from my childhood, and she had a particularly fucked up one. I wouldn't be surprised at all if they were both addicts who, even if not enabling each other, certainly don't get on the other's case about it.

Has anybody seen this? I don't recall it being mentioned. Another graveyard that KG reigns over smh. I saw that he linked it on the KOH forums to try and attract people from the nuked subreddit. Weird that it's under the Sons of Kojima banner, no?

EDIT: Another note on his drinking. His kind of, I don't know, gray appearance is another result of his drinking. I've seen pictures of myself near the end of my drinking where I looked like a fucking ghost. He also never leaves the house though and has essentially zero Vit D unless he gets it from drinking whole milk or a supplement, which I doubt, so he could just look all grayish because of that. Who knows, he's got a lot of fucking problems lol. If he got just like a routine physical and CBC, I'd imagine there'd be major indications of all sorts of issues.

I was a reddit fag and I'm sorry. The difference between Reddit and Kiwifarms is that the mods here won't permanban you for saying things they don't like and you can say anything like stop putting black people on a pedestal because something bad happened to them during a small sliver of human history; everything has happened to every race of people. The farms are nowhere near as bad as people make it out to be.

Most of the time this is just cope from the fact they have been supported a piece of shit.

I would feel like a dumbass if I fought against "trolls" about Phil not playing WWE champs only to have the bank shit come out and prove me wrong.

Also this knobhead argued with people on Reddit about "lack of evidence."

He's just a weirdo supporting another weirdo, no surprise.

Imagine tipping a server in a restaurant (or any other similar service) to only find out that they have a crippling gambling and alcohol addiction and the money you gave them directly enabled that. Then imagine saying "Oh well! Not my business!"

In a really twisted way, Phil's biggest "fans" give the smallest shit about his wellbeing.

In that scenario though, the server provided a service which I'd rightfully want to reimburse them for. They didn't cry to me about how they have bills due and they've only made $46 all day and they'd really appreciate the support. Once that server is off work, they can spend that money on whatever they like because I paid for their service which they delivered and that's where our transaction ended. Also waiters largely rely on tips to get by.

With Phil, it's like having a guy making $35 an hour approach you every single day twice a day and telling you his bills are due and when you point out you tipped him $50 yesterday, he kicks you out of the establishment. Phil's pulled this waiter comparison in regards to tipping a few times and its complete nonsense because the only similarity tips in a restaurant context and tips in a stream context have is the name. You don't tip a streamer for good service, you generally tip because you like their content and want to throw a few extra bucks their way. Phil expects $300 a DAY in tips while still getting paid by YouTube and he sees no issue with endlessly badgering his viewers about low tips (and to him, $60 for 3 hours of gameplay is "low").

I don't really watch streamers in general, but I've never seen a streamer have a constant $150 tips goal where if you give him $150, he just plays dress-up as a reward and then is right back to begging the next day, and this goes on for YEARS. I honestly wouldn't even give a shit if Phil was spending all his money on booze and gacha if he wasn't eternally begging about how he needs money for bills and making these imaginary financial problems his viewers' problems. He wants people to stay out of his finances and yet he talks about them every day as a begging tool. Either stop begging or accept that your spending will be scrutinized when you're clearly lying to and fleecing your viewers.

I don't get it. Didn't KG stop supporting DSP because DSP literally scammed KG with Project 7? How does DSP get such pathetic people who throw wads of cash at him, are at best treated like absolute garbage (Swaggins) or more likely completely scammed (KG) who then still come back to waste hours of their lives a day moderating his graveyard communities and start once again throwing money at him?

Is it some sort of phermone or odor?

KG is mental, don't even try to understand his behavior. He's "quit" DSP multiple times and he always ends up going back to play Baby's First Gestapo on the tumbleweed forums where he has like over 9,000 posts. He's the online equivalent of a mall cop thinking they're hot shit, but at least mall cops get paid.

I get that, and there's a difference between you and me in regards to tipping culture. I'm in the UK, and servers are paid at least minimum wage so any tips they get is a bonus and should be given for providing exceptional service. So in my context, knowing that my "bonus" for them was being squandered on them ruining their lives, I would make a choice not to tip if I knew that in advance.

But I know that in the US, many servers make a living from their tips and aren't paid a minimum wage. So it's a biased example. I guess my point was just knowing that you were enabling someone in that way, would you be okay knowing that?

love how he says that Phil can “blow money on hookers and cocaine if he wanted “ Two things way cooler than what Phil actually blows money on: picture of half naked men and trashy doordash ordered food.

The ability to play the role of le smug internet contrarian is just too important to some people.
He fucking knows that Phil guilt-trips people multiple times on a daily basis, tells them that he needs their money for specific purposes, but chooses to just omit that for the sake of winning the current argument.
He's like Phil in the sense of he cares about instant gratification more than anything and doesn't care who or what he shits on in order to get it.
As for your question, DSP's Autism Vortex is simply the last place these dregs can get attention. Swagginz and KG both stepped away from it, realized they were internet nobodies, and came crawling back. They don't like Phil just like we do, they just get more of a kick out of screwing with his detractors too. Even if that means breaking your spine bending over backwards to make an argument.
