Maybe someone should point out to him that the event he's referencing with "tied to a fence and left for dead" is the Matthew Shepard murder, which was highly publicised and politicised as an anti-gay hate crime but was in reality most likely to do with meth. There is a software programmer at my work that wears one of those when he shows up occasionally to fix the servers so he can continue to work remotely. From what I heard, the only time he has left the house during the pandemic is to get to work to fix stuff, everything else he needs is delivered to the door. I wonder if he had an SA account.
