Tbh losing a loved one is a pretty big deal and I genuinely feel bad for him, but I cant help thinking that Ethan is being disingenuous and just milking this situation for maximum sympathy. The entire note kind of felt like a shill for the upcoming album.

Ethan really reads like some pathetic teenage attempt at "look at me I'm so mentally ill uwu" but the sad part of it all is that it works.
