Pandemics aren't solely defined by how many people have to go to the hospital or die, they're generally determined by how infectious a disease/virus is and how far it has spread. COVID was not a pandemic when it started and confined to Wuhan or even China, but it very quickly went worldwide. AIDS was similarly local but it quickly spread worldwide and only relatively recently (to its life) has it fallen from pandemic conditions. Tuberculosis is considered a pandemic, and has been for almost a century, even though it basically doesn't exist in the First World anymore. (We don't even vaccine for it despite something like ten million people worldwide getting it a year.)

I don't believe there is actually a single vaccine that 100% stops your infection or transmission rates. It entirely depends on the viral load (aka pozzing your neghole) you receive, and if your body is healthy enough to produce the necessary antibodies. High enough pozzing, antibodies don't do shit and your body uses homeostasis (Fever) along with the lymphatic system (inflammation, cytokines, etc) to fight the infection.

This is also why most people get a fever or feel a bit off the day after the vax. it means it's working, your body is having an immune response to it. The whole point of vaccines is to train your immune system to respond more easily to the real thing if/when you get it. On a societal level, more people vaxed means the virus runs out of hosts to infect, aka herd immunity. Covid boosters will be needed eventually because of the fact that immunity to covid doesn't last as long as many other diseases, your body can basically forget how to defend itself over time if you haven't come into contact with the virus. It's only going to be made worse by antivaxxers because they make sure there's still enough of the virus circulating to reinfect people who did get shots when their immunity eventually wears off.
Perhaps you should familiarize yourself with the history of vaccinations and why previous coronavirus vaccines have never been fully approved - it has something to do with the the fact it is a coronavirus, but I don't want to give the whole game away as clearly you do a lot of reading outside of quack forums and the local bar.
