Maybe ten years ago? I only ever actually watch his videos when its a TIHYDP for CoD, just to see him getting pounded and make myself feel better about my lack of skill.

If the leak showed that Phil was right and he was living within his means and using his money wisely he would have a leg to stand on with his woe-is-me gin tweets.

You can't lie for a decade, call anyone that questions you a mentally ill slanderer, and then have your bank statements show everyone is 100% correct and play the victim card. If he wasn't scamming on the daily there wouldn't be an interest in accessing his bank in the first place.

he's been doing this for years, it's been a long time since he felt bad about faking circumstances to bleed his viewers for more money.
for Phil, it's just another day in the office.
finally he feels entitled to the money, since he thinks he is providing a life-changing service.
It's easy to spot those people. Ask someone what he does, while you know what he actually does.
depending on his description on what he does, you'll get if he is a Phil or not.
I've met people who did nothing important as a day-to-day job and they convinced themselves that the whole world owes them.

One of the best things about the leaks is that I can now get a fairly accurate representation of what his CPM for video views has historically been -- and holy shit did it increase since COVID:

I took the average of his CPM (prior to receiving Super Chats/Memberships) and got 2.24. Thus I have updated the CPM calculation on the spreadsheet to 2.2 (instead of 1.0) which brings his YT revenue calculation closer to the actual amount received. Now that we have some objective data, I feel more comfortable with less "low-balling" since it should be pretty close regardless.

Remember, this is all fake information because Phil said so.

His income dried up but his lifestyle did not. He cannot go back to spending less as he'll perceive himself being less successful. The trolls would win if he has to downsize and cut back. It's why he stubbornly refuses to get a more suitable home elsewhere too.

Credit cards and loans masked the issue he had of less to spend with what was earned/given to him. He still cannot believe he has to accept his new financial reality.

It's like a combination of his stubbornness, his blind comprehension of pride, his greed for consoomerism and his desire to pig out on as many things as he possibly can during his off time.

He's run into the ground of how absolutely jealous people must be of him and his successes in life, but whenever I hear him throw around that line of reasoning, it almost sounds like he wants people to feel jealous by reinforcing this idea that he's not actually a bit of a cunt and selfish scumbag, but that trolls and haters are genuinely seething with hatred and rage at Phil's living situation right now.

If this is indeed the case then I think all the gin and other alcohol has reversed his brain thinking like he did back in 2011, there isn't anything wrong about how he conducts himself or how he presents his content in any fashion, but he's surrounded by haters pushing fake narratives that he openly hates his audience, hates playing games that present even the slightest bit of challenge and hates people telling him how to improve his content (his mentality hasn't truly grown that much, even though he likes to parade around this idea that he's this muhture aduhlt, it's rather very far from the truth).

He will 100% always deny wrongdoing, and blame the detractors, until such time as he quits this "job" he has, and gives up on making money by panhandling, with a camera on. And even then, when he stops streaming, he'll maintain that he did nothing wrong, and his life would have been perfect had the haters just left him alone. There's a level of narcissism at play, but mostly it comes down to this; if he admits it all, comes clean, etc, he's fucked. And he knows he's fucked. His whales will quickly beach themselves, and all he'll have left will be the haters, superchatting him taunts for $2. And Dave is far, far too thin skinned, narcissistic, and pathetic to handle that.

The funniest thing to be seen would be him going out into the wild, talking to people you know about his tale, they watch his videos, and come back and tell him everyone else was right. His deflated body would be priceless. I imagine it has happened already though but through the wife.
