Encounters With SJWs/Tumblristas Offline or In Unusual Communities

What happened?
The teacher said her birth name twice during class. Once in the first round of class roll and another time when he called on her to answer a question.
The first time she basically just shouted "No It's [masculine name here]!", the second time when he said it she basically blurted the same thing out in the middle of him talking.
Another thing about this chick is that she's got that bright pink hair going for her and the almost entirely pastel colored wardrobe as well (Only seen exception). I wish I could tell you more, but having tried talking to her multiple times I'm pretty sure she has the social capability of a stray cat.

It wasn't anything absolutely bizzare, but I was in a mental health ward and we were playing a card game. I can't recall exactly what someone said, but they talked about some unfortunate event and I ironically responded with "That's gay". Some chick with a half-shaved head turned to me and told me not to down talk homosexuals. I told her that I was openly bisexual but she kept telling me that despite that I'm putting homosexuality in a negative light.

A few days later during a group somehow the topic of sexuality came up and the same chick along with like, two other girls talked about all the different sexualities like demisexuality and polysexuality and all that stupid shit. I didn't say anything because I didn't want to get in some huge argument (even though I'd be right) but I wanted to strangle myself.

Although it's rather minor, I did see a guy today at my campus library. He was on his laptop and on it, he had stickers of the transgender flag (alright cool), the genderfluid flag (uh okay) and the "Down with the cis-tem" slogan.

Was interesting.

Our town is politically diverse enough to turn a blind eye to minor SJW silliness. The Black Lives Matter movement had a small group of college kids chained to an intersection, wearing all black clothing and face masks. The same group protested a bank about a month later, though no one seemed to know why.

The biggest SJW presence I've noticed, though, are name changes and personal alterations to the "gender" section of drivers' licenses. I've seen a lot of Moon Rainbows and Spider Feather Johnsons but the other day, while checking an ID, I noticed the owner had scribbled out the F and written in Pan. I informed her that a tampered ID was no longer valid and she flounced off. Saw two others later that week, with "trans" and "fluid." It's mostly college kids, but a lot of retired transpeople in our community are jumping on the bandwagon, too.

Oh, wow.
I love how even sjw themselves get confused by their terminology

Rocket League. I just barely enough to by the game in my bank account at the time.

I've actually lost a friend to Tumblr recently, have a seat and grab a beer, cuz dis gon b long.

Seven years ago I met a really cool chick online, let's call her D. We got in touch through a site where you could post your stories and shitpost on a forum filled with teens and awful fandomfreaks. So we trolled the living shit out of that forum, gaining lots of haters, but also a lot of 'fans' who loved what we did. We were also into writing BDSM-stories, what left the little kids either whining or furiously masturbating. In 2011 we finally met and started to hang out alot, since she's only an hour away from me by train. After a while we were actually best friends and it stayed that way, until a few months ago: She discovered Tumblr.

Now, she knows I have always hated Tumblr and it's abominations, but she ignored my warnings and signed up for that hellhole anyway. She's a pro-fat feminist (also genderfluid/bisexual) now that believes that everything around BDSM is rape and abuse and is always yelling at me how I'm abusing my significant other by having a D/s-relationship with him. She also finds it unacceptable that he buys gifts for me, because I am a fierce womyn and I can take care of myself and buy gifts for myself, while she was only into BDSM for the money, because she's poor as shit and too lazy to get a fucking job. The only thing she does all day is smoke pot, browse Tumblr and find brainless faggots on Fetlife who will pay her fifteen bucks to jack themselves off while she insults them on cam. (No slurs of course!!1) She's also calling herself a sex worker because of this, and flips her shit when I say she's not. She starts spurging out an entire speech through her blubbery fat mouthpieces of how majestic she is and how men worship her because she's a fucking goddess and how I should shut the fuck up because I have thin privilege and I will never understand what her and her fat body go through. I don't even want to understand.

And pronouns. She want me to call her by her correct pronouns, but I refuse to, I will keep calling her 'she' and 'her'. So when I don't call her by her pronouns, she yells at me for being a cishet girl (even though I'm bi, but sure) and not understanding her gender and personality etc etc etc etc. Her pronouns are kye/kyr/kyne/kyrself. Oh, and to top the cake: She stealed a few of my panties and sold them to guys online, I found out when she proudly showed me her ad on some fucking sex ad site and those were clearly my panties. She doesn't even fit them, but puts them on anyway. She's sold three, I think. When I confronted her, she said that I left those panties there (I've been living there for a few weeks last year) and I'm rich enough to buy another pair, so she's entitled to them because she's poor. No, I'm not going to give you my fucking expensive lingerie because you're too lazy to get a job.

I've yet to break up contact because I actually feel sorry for her having no friends.

I probably forgot half of the shit she did and it's written like a fucking trainwreck but I am too tired and raging to type out a reasonable rant.

Cut that bitch out of your life, she is toxic and doesn't know shit about being fresh.

Its minor, but I've noticed the artist alleys in local animu cons slowly becoming infected with tumblr nose, pride flag shit, my pronouns are buttons, etc. While I haven't seen any really hateful stuff, I still can't say I'd be surprised if some of the people selling those things had less than savory shit for sale elsewhere.

I also saw no less that three black Sailor Moon prints for sale at the one I just got back from. Again its not like its anything offensive, I just don't get what it is with tumblr artists making Sailor Moon characters black (never any other race, just black).

To be honest, if I knew that shit would get me some serious bux, I'd totally pander to them.

Just for the money, though. (especially the pronouns buttons.)

I... I lost my sister to them. She just turned 18 and moved out. She's dying her hair purple and insists Dear White People is a good movie..
She also cut off contact with my family (:_(
I hope she'll grow out of it. 18 isn't that far from teenagerdom, and everyone has a license to be stupid as a teen. If she's hasn't regained her sanity by, say, 22, than stage an intervention.

To be honest, she didn't force her beliefs too much. She's generally quiet but 1/8th of the time she'll inject some SocJus into the conversation.

Overall, not losing sleep.*yawn*

A few of my friends from high school changed. They always dye their hair kool aid red, go by they/them pronouns, and practically fetishize drag queens. Not trans women, drag queens. They have a VERY unhealthy obsession. They also are obsessed with "receipts"

Another also got really pissed because she said she was unconsensually fingered in her sleep, and I told her to go to the dean or something about it. She said she wasn't even sure if it happened, but I told her that if it did, there could be some DNA evidence in the form of skin cells.

One is a gender studies major (the major is actually called queer studies), and the other dropped out of college to become a makeup artist, but she can't land a gig.

Someone earlier in the thread(I think it was @Jaimas but I could be wrong...)said that a good way to see tumblrinas in the wild is at creative writing classes.
I can confirm that. There was some kind of week-long workshop thing I was doing in the summer. On one of the days, we got into five different groups and had to make the outline for a tv show in a few hours. Trailer, pilot episode, a five-season plan, all that good stuff. We were designing the characters when this really quiet girl pipes up for the first time in the meeting and says something about us making too many of the hypothetical villains for our hypothetical show people of color, and that it could be taken as racist. Never mind that our put-together-in-five-hours show is never going to be on the air, and we just have to do this because it's part of the workshop, no we have to be culturally sensitive too.
She also pulled some shit about how we shouldn't make the villains have mental illnesses because that was offensive, too. None of the rest of us had even said anything about that, though. I finally said to her that trying to force diversity into a show often ends up forced and kind of preachy(I mean hey, look at Gen Zed).
That was not smart of me.
She goes ballistic, asking me "what? what's that? what's 'forced diversity?' Are you saying that diversity in a show is wrong? What are you talking about?" And so on. Meanwhile, everybody else is trying to get her to shut the fuck up because we are in the last hour of our time for completing this thing and the last thing we care about is if our character is Danish or Pakistani or Jewish.
Probably some other stuff that I forgot to mention, but she did some other tumblr-esque stuff, too. What really made me laugh while remembering all this is that by her own logic, she shouldn't have been arguing with me. By tumblr rules, she was oppressing me because I'm a "proud woman of color with immigrant parents" while this girl was an oh-so-privileged white chick.
But hey, what do I expect from tumblr if not hypocrisy?

I remember years ago I encountered a Proto-SJW on the Relic forums (the community forums for Dawn of War). It's likely been lost to fire and smoke but in a bygone age, there was an admin there who was notoriously anal-retentive and community-hostile, as we started openly mocking his shit and making fun of his avatars and self-importance.

But anyway. This admin was a shit. At some point or another, I had managed to piss him off, and he started post-stalking me afterwards waiting for me to make a mistake. Some time later, he banned me because I had said the word "Holocaust." In a Warhammer 40,000 forum. When there is a Daemonhunter psy power with that exact name, which is what I was referring to. Long story short, opposed the ban, got unbanned, dude was butthurt to a biblical degree, internet moves on.
