They'll claim Vic is horrible to women, but give Ron a pass for throwing an RCA remote at his ex and threatening to kill her dog.

For taking the remote away from her, standing up above her sitting on the couch, saying "you tell me how this fucking feels", rearing back from above her, and hitting her.

He also cussed her out, called her names, threatened her and her family, threatened her with her life, their money, their home, her dogs (plural btw), pretty much everything he knew she loved or relied on (in her own words).

You know I heard some stories about Chuck Huber being a huge troll with the fanbase he has and likes to mess with stupid people.
What if all of his anti-vax, flat-earther theories, and 9-11 conspiracies are just done to piss off KickVic?

What if Huber is a huge troll and is doing this to bring out stupid people. I mean his posts did bring out Shane the shoe eater.
Nah man, he’s nutty as a fruit cake.
Maybe Shane was drunk and grooming kids? We know the former was definitely a problem, and it got him shitcanned.

But seriously, now that you mention it, it is weird that they would know this person is a problem, and yet keep letting him in. Cons are private events. Attendees have no elaborate due process rights when it comes to them being there. If the staff wants you gone, you're gone. You pull their badge, and call the cops to have them trespassed off the property if they refuse to leave.

The only time I have ever heard of a convention hiring outside security was when I learned that Otakon hires (or, at least at the time) armed guards from an armored car company (i.e. Brinks) to pick up the significant amount of cash they collect. That's reasonable, IMO. Businesses that deal in a lot of cash do that all the time.

I mean, I'd like to say A-Kon is dumb if they did any of this, but I find it more reasonable to just presume Shane is full of shit. He's once again claiming something in an attempt to make him look saintly, but his former convention look bad. Glug glug, Shane. Eat a shoe.
AWA has, in the past, contracted additional security for the event. But the incidences of FUCKING STUPID we’re quite high at the event. None of that security was ever used to move guests around or transport cash boxes though. They were mostly present to handle the inevitable fall out from the “ITS-A-DANCE-NOT-A-RAVE” rave.

Sounds like it was a doozy.

The usual. Theft, drugs, alcohol, head smashed with beer bottles, grandmas getting cut by idiots with live steel blades (that was a long time ago though), people having sex places they shouldn’t, gas pipes rupturing… that’s all I can think of off the top of my head, lol
I feel like at least one of those you made up.

So in a sense
To work at Funimation you have to be Woke, Kiss Sabat's fat ass, backstab co-workers and be afraid of autistic people.
Yeah this place is a dumpster fire.
To be more specific, that's how you become successful at Funimation and get bigger/noteworthy roles. There are VAs who get work there doing none of those things and yet they aren't well known and not getting much work with them to begin with.

Tell me you're a retarded fat fuck from Finland, WITHOUT telling me you're a retarded fat fuck from Finland. Keep on digging that hole for Krissy sweetheart.

I have to agree with EriMin here.

I'm sure Chuck is a very nice guy, but he does come off as a bit of a wingnut on topics outside of Vic. I believe Chuck's affidavit, but I also find myself wishing it didn't come from Chuck. It's all good and fine to point out he could be wrong about everything except Vic, but the other side isn't gonna extend him that latitude.

Chuck, what are you doing? Even if you deny, you’re better off taking no prisoners.
Twitter arguments are dumb and pointless in general.

If I were Chuck, I wouldn't worry about KV, but rather the powers that be on Twitter. They have been yeeting people for saying the "wrong" things about COVID-19. In fact, KV probably knows that, and they're trying to bait him right now. He, in turn, seems to be aware of that, and is keeping most of the spaghetti in his pockets.

So, he's really not doing too bad here.

I'm confused, can someone TLDR the Chuck Hubert thing?
Granted I haven't read all of their twitter bullshit, but still I can't understand what they accuse him of...
I only see name calling and character assassination, what has he allegedly done?

Chuck was opining on Twitter that A-Kon security was going overboard concerning their monitoring of an autistic guy (literal, and not Kiwi insult) that was at that con in 2016. The KV speds are accusing him of defending somebody who was totally gonna blow up the convention, or some shit. Guest appearance by Shane the Shoe Eater, who was fired by A-Kon for alcoholism, and likely has no idea what the fuck he's talking about.

This then morphed into a discussion about Chuck's other beliefs concerning the Earth being flat, and the efficacy of COVID vaccines. Beliefs which are admittedly batshit crazy, but ultimately irrelevant to the actual topic of this autistic con attendee.

In sort, KV has it out for him because he threw in with Vic, and they are trying to cancel him. Same bullshit, different day. It's also worth noting that ANN brought up Chuck's flat Earth beliefs when they first reported on his affidavit. Hoes are mad.

Just adding to this.

Pronouns and the word "Minor" in the bio. That's not concerning at all...

Are you gonna leak Joey's porn history? No scratch that. I don't want to know what kind of videos Joey watches during his "free time".

So that's it? All that fuss for that? There is nothing more to it? They don't even have an actual allegation of him doing something somehow wrong?
Fuck, that's quite pathetic, even by twitter standards...

viewing this from an objective standpoint, Chuck is handling this brilliantly. he's not giving anyone any ammo at all. this cancel train against him won't last long

You know, I’ve gotten kind of used to Nick and this thread going nuclear on Twitter takes that Chuck being rather chill is a shock. Especially since Vic has only spoken about a denial and just ignoring it.

Here’s the thing: to the left, siding with an undesirable is THE WORST thing one can do in their moral conflicts. Second worst is liking the undesirable. Third worst is…just not hating the undesirable, even if the feeling is neutral indifference.

He's in violation of multiple SJW precepts, hanging out with the "wrong crowd," and generalized "wrongthink." 🙄

It's kinda like how the Soviets used to charge people with "counterrevolutionary thought." It's stupid AF.

In most respects, this exchange is simply ridiculous. The only thing being said that rustles my jimmies is where they are now accusing Chuck of "ableism," because he has the audacity to suggest that maybe a different approach should have been taken towards this autistic individual.

That hits close to home because I worked in disability law, and know the lay of land here. These "people," with their claimed "progressive" beliefs, are why everything is so fucked up right now in the United States. They don't want to actually solve problems. The problems are too useful for them in gay Internet arguments and virtue signaling. It's why this individual, should they need help, will likely never receive or request it. They want everybody to be so "equal," that it actually ends up fucking over those who clearly ARE NOT. Chuck, whatever his other foibles, is actually being compassionate here. They are not.

By all means, ban this person from the convention. But there's a grain of truth in what Chuck is saying.

I hope several of these people flinging shit at Chuck fall down a flight of stairs. It would solve so many problems outside of Vic.

Apologies for the autistic sermon.
