Pretty generic casting for a Hollywood animated film. Not bad, a few interesting picks, but it’s more or less what you expect from a modern animated film. Pretty weird to see Anya Taylor-Joy in a kid’s movie though, considering she’s more known for horror and thrillers.

Although I know exactly people are bugging the fuck out over Chris Pratt specifically and my eyes are rolling to the back of my head.

That honor arguably goes to Jackie Chan adventures

Not a fox kids show it was on during the swan song days of kids WB (just 4 years shy of its end) I say arguably because It wasn't the last celebrity cartoon ever made that was mike Tyson mysteries which while still a celebrity cartoon that got the actual mike tyson involved was more a parody of the celebrity based cartoons of the 70's and 70's animation in general. At leas JCA took itself as seriously as it could given the concept oh and before i forget.

I’m surprised how no one questions the fact that the description states “Every person and animal poops”, but they’re casually letting a famous “inventor uncle” disprove this segment to a bunch of children.

Which reminds me, what exactly does this have to do with the Magic School Bus again?

Reminded of the original digestion episode of the show from decades ago, instead of coming out the anus, they had to go all the way back to the stomach and belch their way out of the kid. I guess this new version isn't going to sugar-coat that.

That episode did show feces in the large intestines didn't it? only unlike here it was only one shot long and the kids were so disgusted by them they asked to leave? not roll around in the shit and talk about how wonderful it is?

Wrong show, it’s, what else, the Netflix reboot. S2 E11.

Dorothy Ann is preparing a musical about flowers but the orchids she has been growing for it are withering. When they try to find fertilizer to enrich the soil, the other students are dismayed to learn that it comes from feces. They overcome their aversion as Ms. Frizzle teaches them about the nutrient cycle. When it is time to perform, Arnold works these concepts into a cover of Sir Elton John's "Circle of Life".
