Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Plus that one guy gets downvoted for stating the obvious that its to help the Democratic Party.

Most of them are milquetoast centrists that probably voted Biden and getting what they deserve.

In the movie, they have Linbergh's racist VP be the one who is stealing the election wholesale and explicitly leave it vague who won so that, if Trump had won, David Simon could have done a second season of the show and gone all la resistance. He also explicitly fucked up the ending too, by painting Linbergh beyond redemption evil and EXPLICITLY having the British MURDER HIM so they can replace him with someone who will get America to break it's neutrality to help them win WW1 (and had one of the main cast be instrumental in the assassination) while having the "Linbergh was blackmailed" thing be used to make fun of QAnon, as far as Simon's hate boner for Linberg and Trump shining through, as far as him making his adaptation of TPAA be his own personal "Why the fuck doesn't one of our allies murder Trump for us?" revenge porn. Along with foreshadowing the left being ready to steal the election from Trump by preemptively putting out a piece of anti-Trump propaganda that accuses the other side of what they were already planning.

Right, but he's giving off the "I'm not Christian but if I talk about Jesus you'll do what I say" vibe, because for some reason he just had to make the "They're not all violent rapists" point front and center.

Always pay attention to the order in which someone makes their point and to how much effort they put on particular details, it helps to discern their true motive.

The rank never mattered, the officer classes do. The rot spreads top-down, and its success relies on the co-opting of the chain of command to make sure no one steps out of line to protest.

I like the analogy that someone raised that it matters not what concerns the tool raises to its wielder.
