Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Lets investigate our troops for using their own free speech on their own time!!!

Time for many people and their boomercon parents to learn the hard way about a couple of things.

Reagan was a faggot, Fuck Blue Lives Matter, mass migration to own the Soviet commies Iron Curtain was a cope, The US Military are unironically led by agents of the devil and their daughters are next on the list to die for Israel.

No, it's even worse than that.

He didn't even speak at the rally. He was just there, and they want to punish him for it.
In the clip he shook Trumps hands, and said "thank you, pulling that baby over the wall was one of the greatest things I have gotten to do." and walked off, he didnt even fucking endorse Trump, just said thanks for acknowledging me.

Pathetic, I have family in the military right now and all of them are Trump supporters. Imagine what they are thinking when shit like this hits the news.

What happened before Bush that turned the country Red? You think we'll have a similar outcome after Biden? Or is social media that powerful to where Blue is here to stay?

History doesn't repeat but it rhymes. In the late 1960s and early 1970s you had leftist insanity gripping the country, traditional institutions destroyed, domestic terrorism, the promotion of degeneracy, etc. The 1970s were then malaise, military failures, general decline.

The country swinging culturally to the right in the eighties was in large part a response it all that. It's not a perfect 1:1 comparison but theres definite similarities between then and now.

Personally I think our culture is too pozzed for a repeat of Reagan. It's all downhill from here on out. I really really hope I'm wrong though. I personally loved the 1980s.

EDIT: Yeah I get Reagans policies were often shit. But as a figurehead for society to rally around he was great. And we need that, we need to fix our culture if we are ever going to fix our politics.

Between the uptick in news articles talking about inflation(or stagflation as some have taken to calling it), the government trying to tax every little transaction, and trying to pass increasingly authoritarian legislation its now obvious that the U.S. dollar is about to collapse. Faith in government is at an all time low, foreign faith in our government is dismal, and our entire monetary system is backed by sole faith in the U.S. government™. It doesn't matter if the debt ceiling is raised, it doesn't matter if they pass this 3.5 trillion dollar infrastructure bill, its already in motion, nothing is stopping it at this point.

Hearing people bitch about the government spending more money while also simultaneously spouting meme's like "money printer go BRRRRRRRRRR" is maddening. People really can't put two and two together, it doesn't fucking matter if they print $5 or $5,000,000,000,000 its all fucked. Every fiat system is doomed to fail, and we're entering the death spiral in our own system. "oh no they're further debasing our worthless paper" if you haven't started taking proper steps to secure your wealth outside of this debt addicted system after the last 2 years of madness then you were never going to in the first place, more time would've done you no good.
That's interesting, because I noticed when I bought something online the other day, there was sales tax on the shipping amount too, which there wasn't in the past. They're definitely trying to tax you on every little thing.

TL;DR - Hippie Backlash

Milley is not loyal to anyone but Milley.

When Pelosi came to him to try to grab the codes, he should have reported it. The chain of command is fairly clear on who can authorize what and when. It was extremely tight focused during the Cold War and I doubt even Obama could have ass fucked the chain of command worse than Clinton.

The nuclear chain of command is a little more complex than anyone really thinks it is, and includes backups in case the government is knocked out in the opening phase (such as a nuke going off in the basement of the embassy for China or Russia) down to the point that during the Cold War there were individual enlistedmen who could activate the nukes in their hands so they could be deployed, fired, handed out to units.

The first thing is, the whole "nuclear codes" is fucking Hollywood Bullshit.

Are there codes on individual weapons? To an extent. There are no 'codes' on tactical weapons. Davey Crocketts, W-series shells, Tomahawk warheads, all of those short range knockout punches don't need codes. Put the trigger in place, tell the infantryman/artillery guys that "oh, yeah, sure, you'll TOTALLY be outside the blast range", and let that shit roll. Some of the SRBM's needed their boards to go live, but that was a simple punch in 6 numbers and hold down a key. Funny thing was, because the rounds themselves degraded the electronics in that small of a weapon, you could just activate the mechanical switch.

There's no "launch codes" at the level beyond 11111111#+ENTER

What everyone thinks of as "launch codes" are at the ICBM facilities and the Boomers.

But here we go again. For the Minuteman silos and the Boomers, the codes aren't to ACTIVATE the fucking system, they're to verify that the command has authority.

The "football" makes it so that the president, anywhere, any time, can throw the authorization into the chain in less than 5 minutes. (Goal was, at one time, 60 seconds from latch to authorization)

This is what happens:

President throws the football.
Signal goes out to CENTCOM (Now, back in the day it went other places)
CENTCOM hits the live wires. It goes out multiple times for redundancy.
Those who get the signal pass it down AND call back up the chain to verify.
There's a limited amount of links in the chain, but within 15 minutes things are running hot.
There's multiple points of authorization coming in.
Guys in the silo match codes, match keys, turn keys, prepare to fire.
Authorization from CENTOM (used to be NORAD) comes in.
BOOM!

Milley wasn't after "the codes", he was trying to subvert an ENTIRE chain of command. He was trying to say "The President, the Joint Chiefs, CENTCOM, don't matter, you listen to me."

He's now engaging in what he's best at.

Covering his own ass and throwing other people under the bus.

See, after Nixon, the system was retooled where it can be used with or without the President, and the President can be cut out of the chain by a snap decision among the several failsafes.

1: Milley was acting in a way that far more hurt Pelosi than trump.
Then why didn't he say so? No, his focus groups told him to blame Pelosi and hope his uniform covers him.

If Pelosi was trying to seize control of the nukes (and the Speaker of the House is IN the chain of command, why would she need to do this?) he should have reported it to CENTCOM and had her access revoked.

All it takes is a notification of lack of confidence.
2: Milley was the one floating mutiny during Afghanistan.
That fat faggot was telling everyone not to hurt the mudders feelings and that his pullout plan wouldn't leave jizz on the hooker's face.

No, he's CYOA.

I've seen it a dozen times from incompetent commanders.
3: Milley refused to resign for Afghanistan, an action that prevented heat being taken off Biden.
He's refusing to resign because he knows if he can hang on another 5-10 years, everyone will have forgotten he's a glorified fashion designer and he can weld his name down as the military genius who stopped Trump, Pelosi, and Biden from killing everyone.

The fat faggot.
4: Milley knows fuck all about woke topics despite claiming he knows them.
THis is EXTREMELY common with the higher brass. They THINK they know all kinds of shit, when they barely know what their weapon looks like. Once they get past 20 years, what they actually know about the military isn't as much as they like to think it is. When you hit 30 or 40 years, the military you spent the formative years in is fucking gone.

That... recontextualizes Milley's own action. His big 'fuck you' was ensuring that everyone knew the chain of command for launching nukes.
THis isn't a big "Fuck You", everyone already knows the Chain.

No, he got the chain involved when he shouldn't have. When Pelosi asked him to remove Trump, he should have laughed at her and told her to bring it up to the Armed Services Committee.

Instead, he snuck around and acted like Secret Squirrel.

The call with China is debatable, and really can be read as "You'll get an official declaration of war, not a surprise attack". Which is shitty but a far cry from pure treason under tumultuous circumstances.
So, supposedly, he reaffirmed America's standard practice of no sneak attacks?

Bullshit.

CYOA and smokescreen bullshit.
But if we take this at face value, it means the big one could have been for more than Trump, ensuring nobody does something stupid. Including the democrats.
That's been part of everyone's job for decades. Again, CYOA bullshit and grand-standing.
Addendum: Right, to expand. Milley is accused of two things.

1: Asserting himself as the middleman in between Trump and the Football.
Which he already was unless the NUKES ARE ALREADY ROLLING. If we have incoming, he can't do shit.

The chain is VERY robust with plenty of fallback, so if the nukes aren't rolling, there are over a dozen people that can stop it.
2: Telling the Chinese he'd warn them if the nukes were to be dropped.
So, reaffirming America's standard "No First Strike" policy?

Bullshit.
This hasn't sat well with me for a while, because it only made sense if Milley legitimately feared Trump launching nukes at China, which was farcical.
EVERY president is a worry they'll do something goddamn dumb.
But now consider a different light, you have an Admin coming in with clear ties to china, a Speaker seeking to gain the nuclear launch codes herself, a long and documented history of viewing Trump as the most evil thing ever, and a clearly fraudulent election to unseat him. So, what is a general to do in this situation?
Adhere to the standards.

Not act like a fucking retard.
1: Make sure he is a barrier to -anyone- misusing the codes.
Except, there's already an entire chain for that.
2: Sooth over the most likely victim to prevent preemptive assault in case the other faction decides to play dirty.
NOT. HIS. JOB.

DOn't let his carefully focused group CYOA bullshit fool you.

He's popping smoke and bailing. He's throwing out a few pieces of meat he doesn't need without offending anyone.

He's trying to avoid jail time and the loss of his pension and secure his legacy.

Don't let this fat cowardly fuck, who avoided EVERY FUCKING HINT OF COMBAT FOR FORTY YEARS fool you into thinking he's some kind of brave soldier.

He's a jumped up dress maker.

Do you mean STRATCOM? CENTCOM shouldn't have any say over nukes unless they need a glass parking lot in the Middle East.
Sorry. I was told a while back that NORAD and STRATCOM were pretty much out of the picture depending on which leg you were looking at. Of course, I could be wrong anyway about how it works now.

I didn't want to get down into the super details, because my shit is wrong now.

Personally I think our culture is too pozzed for a repeat of Reagan. It's all downhill from here on out. I really really hope I'm wrong though. I personally loved the 1980s.
I think it's too early to tell whether or not the culture will veer right in response to the repeated failures of the current administration. The media will very much remain hard left and pro-corporate, but that doesn't say anything about regular (non-pozzed) people, who generally hold the belief that the media is dishonest at best and propagandistic at worst, that the Uniparty doesn't give a shit about them and will throw them under the bus and destroy their children's future to keep the country's GDP from tanking. 2020 was a wake-up call for a lot of moderates who realized they can't ignore the political theater of Washington anymore.

I predict that we'll continue to see a case of Two Americas in this decade, but the out-group will be the disconnected coastal elite rather than the working class of Middle America, simply by virtue of being so disconnected by a widening poverty and resource gap that they will become out of touch in the same way celebrities are out of touch with literally everyone.

I think a red wave is still possible, we just won't see it for a long time. You got a bunch of white kids in blue states now being taught that they're fundamentally evil for simply existing, a bunch of naturalized Hispanic teenagers realizing that illegal immigration is hurting their employment chances just as badly as their white neighbors, and a small percentage of blacks realizing the elites can easily replace them with migrant labor far faster than they can with whites.

and the GOP is leaving Mexican votes on the table by not campaigning on these issues 24-7

why
I bring up Rubio openly musing on twitter saying basically, how can we keep Trump's minority numbers without doing anything he did.

(If I had the link to the tweet/archive I'd bring it, I've never forgotten that he tweeted it)

No, it's even worse than that.

He didn't even speak at the rally. He was just there, and they want to punish him for it.
He cavorted with the enemy of the state! That's treason! Just remember that the enemy is not China.
Time for many people and their boomercon parents to learn the hard way about a couple of thinks.

Reagan was a faggot, Fuck Blue Lives Matter, mass migration to own the Soviet commies Iron Curtain was a cope, The US Military' are unironically led by agents of the devil and their daughters are next on the list to die for Israel.
I've gotten vibes of this picture lately.

Alright, I tried to take an objective look at the $3.5T spending package (we can drop the infrastructure ruse and call it what it is), and consider it objectively.

There's some things in it I could get behind IN PRINCIPLE:
- Universal pre-school -- early education is very strongly corrolated with future success. If one program in this is actually an investment in the future, it's this.
Too bad the only things they'll be teaching in the universal preschool will be anal fisting, critical race theory and pole-dancing in drag.

And fuck every shill saying "ZERO DOLLARS!" We aren't retarded, fuck you for thinking we are.
In 1984 you just had to accept that 2+2 = 5. Now they're telling us that 3,500,000,000,000 = 0.

"We know he saved a baby and all, but we're gonna ruin this guy's life because he dared share a stage with the Verboten."
If anyone even thinks of joining the military at this point, they are beyond retarded. Holy SHIT.

...... I fully expect Australia to be on fire by Christmas.
:stress:
Orwell and Huxley are spinning in their graves so fast they've become perpetual motion machines, Christ on a bike.

All three of my kids went to Pre-School, and I lived in a bumfuck nowhere area.

The restrictions were pretty tight:
Must be potty trained
Must be able to eat at the table
Must be able to follow directions

One daughter was deaf when she went through it, and it helped her a lot.

Mostly, it was, to be honest, just a 1/2 day of day-care with her playing with the kids that would be her peers.

The thing to keep in mind with Pelosi is that these fables of her being some sort of master politician are a meme. She fundraises with trannies and child molesters in Hollywood, that's about it.

It probably was her because she's so fucking stupid that starting a nuclear war with China is on her bucket list.

She kinda snapped after someone shat on her desk on 1/6 and was in full IMPEACH ORANGE MAN mode, perhaps she wanted the nuclear codes given to her as some kind of military stamp of approval that Trump couldn't be trusted?
Saying "this man has gone far enough that even our general staff don't trust him with the football" would probably sway more than a few of the moderate Republicans towards impeaching him.
Nancy knows exactly who was behind the January 6th riot and she just spent a weekend with him and his son. Pelosi doesn't give a fuck.

also the fact that she maneuvered her way into the SF DA position by cutting a deal with prominent SF Catholic families to protect pedo priests

Catholic families lol, why the fuck did the GOP waste their time with this lot.

Despite how much of a fucking useless fag that Mitt Romney was, it was a better choice over Santorum in 2012 it seems like in the long run though fuck both of them.

At the beginning of this summer, absolutely.
Now? It would seem not. That article has Joe at 43% and Harris at 49%.

Doesn't surprise me in the least since she disappeared and is rarely seen or heard from, all while shirking her "Border Czar" duties. Nobody has seen enough of her cackle face shit lately to think about how bad she really is. Put her in charge and watch those numbers hit Mariana Trench depths.
I was thinking the same thing. That Kamala is only doing better in approval because she hasn't made that much appearances in public recently. If they throw her back in public eye again I have a feeling the polling numbers will go down fast.
