Body Found in Wyoming Park ‘Consistent With the Description' of Gabby Petito - FBI confirmed - Brian Laundrie still missing, FBI searched his home

Florida is a Stand Your Ground state and the use of force, lethal or otherwise, to protect your land, home, vehicle, or other personal property is an affirmative defense. Should have learned about that from the last Florida circus starring Trayvon and Zimmerman.

Zim Zam's case did not involve stand your ground, only self defense.

What kind of Florida Man didn't just shoot a bunch of them? That would at least actually be interesting. I wonder how many cops could be actually working on this case who are instead babysitting this bunch of fucking useless tards camped out on someone else's lawn.

I'd assume most of these people are on tard bucks because how else would they have the time for this bullshit?

Much hay is being made in the news about Dog the Bounty Hunter finding a campsite on a "shell island" near the Egmont Key island where he found a Monster energy drink can. Yeah, not him. But the news totally thinks that it is a clue. Parks are packed with people running off to do off site camping bring their trash with them. If I were Brian, I would be burying any trash.

Egmont Key:

NY Post article.

I don't blame Dog for searching that area looking for clues. But too much is being made out of nothing.

IDK man, that's a pretty fresh can- no ants or sugar residue mold on it at all!

EDIT: The reporters got their fact wrong. The phone was purchased on April 4th.

Report from TMZ that Brian Laundrie & an "older woman" (probably his mother) purchased a burner cell phone at an AT&T store the day he went missing (Sept 14th).

If that is a confirmed sighting with store surveillance, that would mean that the whole campground Florida Key escape is no longer in play.

I wonder what Brian told his parents to get them to help him hide. They should watch out for the lynch-hungry mob outside. With how angry some are getting it wouldn't surprise me if one of them did something stupid. I wonder if there's any policemen stationed nearby to intervene if things escalate.

I wonder what Brian told his parents to get them to help him hide.
"She came at me with [x] and I had no choice to defend myself"
"It was an accident and I didn't know what to do"
"She killed herself and I didn't know what to do"
"She was hitting me, and I pushed/hit her so she'd stop and she just died"
"I left, came back, and have no idea what happened"

Any of theses (or variations on that theme), I can see his parents going along and trying to help him. I can't imagine he said anything much more different than that for his parents to go out of their way to let him escape at such personal cost.

What really interests me is knowing how closely what he told them reflects what actually happened.

Also the phone shit might just be yet another red herring, according to the family the FBI already has the phone because he left without it

11:44 AM PT -- According to the Laundries' family attorney, Steven Bertolino ... they did purchase a new phone, and he believes it's the one Brian left behind at home and the FBI is already in possession of it.

The Laudrie attorney reportedly called HLN during their nightly Petito update and said it was September 4, not the 14th.

It’s hilarious how much Brian fucked himself over. He could’ve avoided this extra bullshit if had either informed the police of her death immediately (if it was accidental) or had just stayed put at his parents house. Not only has he put Gabby’s family through pain, but now his own family is having to deal with the consequences of his own actions.

He’s probably dead now though lol.

Ok his parents might have fucked themselves over royally. According to Fox News, his parents had made reservations at a camp ground for two people on August 24th, for early September, but on August 31st they changed the reservation for 3 people... Meaning they knew he was coming before he was actually back in Florida.

They could seriously get charged with some serious charges including accessory after the fact at this point, I figured they'd only get some obstruction charges or whatever at worse because it'd be hard to prove anything, but now if they knew from the get go and did all they could to make him escape justice and they have some proofs of that...

Florida is one of the 14 states where close family can't be charged with harboring a fugitive. Actually assisting him to go on the lam might go beyond that and be something like accessory after the fact, or before the fact if the crime is evading arrest or something.

I wouldn't get too optimistic about charges, but I suppose it could happen.
