They do argue that. It's just stupid. There are broad sex based differences that aren't necessarily a result of any condition and are simply the luck of the draw. Like having low testosterone isn't (in and of itself) a DSD. Neither is being uncharacteristically tall/short for your sex. Brains do exhibit sex differences but they're statistical differences and do not interfere with normal functioning like DSDs do.
