A lot of that is publicly available on many peoples pages anyway, bit of a shit leak if so. Similar to that big data scrape the other month.

Wouldn't be surprised if it's just the same shit being posted again. Those kind of hacker forums (the one in the article) are known for pulling gay tricks like this constantly where someone'll make a post saying they have so and such even though it's already been available if you know where to find it (half the time it's some sketch direct download site or some git repo with a gibberish name ime) and/or they just take the money and run.

It ain't. I am still able to access the website and one account I had with it.

I suppose then that its not affecting everyone then, but its definitely effecting others. So its definitely down for some people, but not everyone.

Checking Downdetector shows that theres been at least 219 reports of the site having an outage/having issues as of 3:48pm (archive) [time may vary depending on your timezone].

Searching ‘Bank of America’ on twitter and clicking on latest has a lot of tweets talking about how its having issues/down.

Though I admit I should have worded my original post better. Instead of saying its down like its a definitive statement I should have probably said something closer to “its having issues and is down for some people”.

TLDR;
I could have worded it better. Its not down for everyone, just having issues though it is down for some it seems.
