Theyre just calling her a whistleblower as part of their "words mean things" strategy and sadly the right is still playing into it and playing their games.
She's not a whistleblower, but calling her a whistleblower and cementing that as "reality" provides her with additional protections from countersuit etc should Facebook feel she fucked them over or it come out this was all bullshit etc. They know this, so they call her a whistleblower, and now everyone else is as well, so it may as well be true.

Breaking out of the circle requires taking a risk. It requires bringing in evidence and viewpoints, considering and weighing your options, making a decision based on the available information... taking responsibility for that decision, seeing it through, and dealing with the consequences of it.
If that's activating neurons, let me say it a different way:
It requires LEADERSHIP.
All of the tinpot dictators, all of the karens screaming for you to just take your 9th jab and accept the 2 decades to flatten the curve and why do you want FREEDOM so much anyway, you NAZI FASCIST CAPITALIST, all of them are so conditioned against the idea of leadership that they literally cannot grasp the idea. The idea of making a decision, the idea of taking a risk, or having any real responsibility, is not only alien to them, the pressure of it is literally causing them to melt down. They'd literally lock you in a cage someplace forever if that would mean they didn't have to take any of this risk, to make a decision.
And these are elected officials in the US. Lots of them. We have an entire leadership caste that cannot deal with the most fundamental aspects of leadership. Somehow our system has broken down to the point that it's electing not only bad leaders, but AntiLeaders.

Operation Pacifier. The FBI raided a TOR server that was hosting child porn and installed some flash files embedded in every page that dialed home outside of TOR, using a broken version of flash that just happened to be installed in the official TOR Browser Bundle. But they couldn't shut the site down because if they did, they wouldn't have any evidence of people accessing the porn. So for a few weeks the FBI literally ran a Child Porn ring, complete with photos and video downloads.
This Op Pacifier is also notable because they got a Part Time Traffic Court Judge to approve this warrant for "every computer user on every computer everywhere in every jurisdiction for all of time" because the District Court Judges in the same building refused to sign off on it for the FBI. Ditto the actual house raids, almost all of them were signed off on Magistrate Judges because again, the real judges smelled a rat and refused.
This apparently was upheld by SCOTUS, so now if the FBI wants to break into your computers in say, Arkansas, they can ask a Traffic Court Judge in New York City they know to sign off on it, and it's just fucking dandy.
Oh, and this being a blatant 4th Amendment violation started getting the Op Pacifier cases thrown out by some judges, so the SCOTUS changed the rules to effectively state "The 4th Amendment does not exist if you use a computer."
