Eh, I am not against severely mentally ill/addicted/personality disordered parents fucking off out of their children's lives, for whatever reason. Penny certainly left because he is selfish and not because he thought it would be better for the kids, but the result is the same - a more stable life for the kids. I do wonder about the child he claimed to have trooned out though, I hope they're doing ok.
