Me too. All the initial work was on the spike amd how it mediated attachment to the ACEII receptors. The natural infection itself seems to go a bit more for the nucleocapsid proteins but of course it goes for everything, so it’s a broad response. I’ve not seen a good rationale for why spike. I suspect it was just hype, and by the time they realised the spike itself was the problem, things were already in motion. That’s the only non-tinfoil explanation I can come up with. They were determined to use the mRNA platform and for that they kind of had to choose a single antigen to work with, so the question is more why spike rather than why not everything else, but still, I can’t see why they’d go for it. If nothing else, the spike is variable amd so you’d expect a vaccine like that to be very narrow spectrum.
If you want full tinfoil, a spike vaccine is more like to be creating facilitated infection, and damage in those taking it and to need constant boosters.
4d tinfoil chess mode, they knew the protection would wane and designed it that way to reduce chances of ADE. None of it makes sense. I suspect some people know a lot more about it all
