I've noticed he's been drunk a lot lately, but this is next level even for Phil. It's not often we get to hear his genuine, high pitched, shrieky laugh, it only comes out when he's really smashed... RIP headphone users. The way he constantly glances at chat in the desperate hope someone is actually paying attention to what he's doing only adds to how tragic this is.

I also remember someone a few pages back commenting on how he's been dropping his th's for d's more often recently and this is a prime example: "DAT WAS INSANE" "I MURDERED DAT DUDE". Proper retard mode.

This stuff should have its own thread. For people who just want to check the state of stream. I'm sure there's many people who just want to see with how much money the stream ended, look at his begging and move on.

There should be another live stream chat thread, because people use the general thread like it's a chat. Telling people to use the chat isn't going to work.

In my headcanon Dave gets up, tries to stay sober during the first stream, then is grabbing the bottle during his Lunch break and drinking into the end of the evening stream.
Then, at around midnight/1 am, he comes down and the depression hits, resulting in him doubting his life choices and starting to gin tweet/reading the farms untli he passes out.

I'd say that he starts his day off drinking even before the first stream. I'm not saying that he's already sloshed, far from it but with his years of heavy drinking he has developed a dangerous dependence and tolerance of alcohol to the degree that he requires some level of alcohol in his system to function, so because of that he needs some hair of the dog in the morning after he rolls out of bed, like a shot of gin. Drunkards feel withdrawals much more intensely than regular people do, Phil no doubts has the shakes as soon as he wakes up.

I hope Paypal goes down for a day, and he has to scramble to find a way to pay for his pulls and gin, further proving that blowing nearly half a million in Twitch revenue on addition is astronomically stupid.

lol I can't wait until he starts preaching doom on the prestream and states that there will be a significant drop in quality in the new Yakuza games (if we're lucky he'll say that RGG Studio may be going out of business) when he doesn't know that the new head of RGG is the head writer of every single mainline Yakuza game ever since Yakuza 1, while Nagoshi himself hasn't had a hands-on position in creating the mainline games ever since Yakuza 0 I believe, though he is the head writer in both Judgment games. Hell, 7 has the least amount of Nagoshi's involvement and Dave claims it's his favorite Yakuza game.

I'm glad he's not touching Metroid. I don't need to see my favorite nintendo series ruined by him going:

1. Enter room
2. Nearly die from easy enemies
3. Get stuck
4. "Whu-what do I do? Huuuuuh?"

His Super Metroid on the SNES mini aborted playthrough is kind of great for just this cycle though, give it a try. The game is still so good not even Phil can ruin it, at least in my opinion, but it's an example of the very best its generation can produce as a final product too so it's well armored against pigroach attacks on it also.
