Rex Viper is a pretty lame band name anyway. Brings to mind a 10-year old trying to think of something cool, or that band from the Wimpy Kid book series.

Who are these Not James people?
A bunch of hacks who do networking that are pretty much parasites to James and ruined his channel. From hacks who use James as a mouthpiece for their own opinions, don't tell James no when he wants to do skits and stuff, and also try to use James as a launching pad for their ow careers (i.e. See Rex Viper, Rental Reviews, and their podcasts)

That's sad, man. James is a good egg.

So guess this means no matter who you are, if you create shit on the internet and have any kind of a following, you have a shelf life. whether it be a few years like some people or almost 20 like James.

I wonder if they'll ever be a leak for youtube showing how much they pay each user like the recent twitch one. Probably would be eye-opening especially for someone like james since going of some sites that try to estimate like socialblade he's making in between 36.8K - $588.1K a year, and I'm more willing to believe the lower number is more accurate since he probably has to split the earnings and socialblade assumes no video has been demonetized.
I don't care how much passion or love you have for the job, an almost 20 year career and not even making 40k a year with absolutely no benefits or retirement plans seems as soul crushing as working for a fast food place for the same amount of time.

I'e heard it claimed that a good rule of thumb is to halve the upper socialblade estimate to get a rough estimate of actual income. Something that's allegedly been corroborated by various youtubers.

Which would put James around at least 250k a year before taxes.

However much he’s making, it’s enough to support a family of four and pay SlobWave.

Just the fast food bill for Justin must be huge.

I might still argue it might be a bit less since James has to split the revenue with the other cinemassacre members though he's probably getting the lions share of it so it might be close enough when you count other sources of revenue. Although that makes me wonder now, is he doing ad-reads because he legitimately needs money for his family or his he just being a bit of a greedy jewtuber and trying to get the most bang for his buck.

I don't know that I buy this accusation, seems opportunistic. I remember a lot of people claiming at the time that he "borrowed" quite a bit from a recent Ahoy video, which explained it in great detail. I find it odd that she doesn't accuse him of plagiarism too...
Ahoy credits his sources (including Cat DeSpira) at the end of that video. James' video doesn't credit any sources.

Every time I hear these type of creepers they all have the same fucking voice. That super autistic studder with the childish undertones in their delict. The way he quoted the shit he was watching like it was some badge of honor is pretty fucking demented. These ScreenWave orbiters are horror and lolcows in their own respect, that if we don't have a thread on them then it should eventually warrant one. I only suggest the possiblity because everytime the layer of scum always gets deeper. Especially when it's e-fame chasing orbiting queers, too bad it never works out the way these type of people expect.

It is always something else with these autistic faggots. The fact that James is still working with these ass clowns just shows how remarkable the level that he is just finished with the Angry Nerd series. James better be like Marty McFly and start collecting clocks because if he wants any type of redemption arc. Then he better start finding the time to make his own content again, because this shit is getting ridiculous.

How ScreenWave cringe lords could Mohammed Atta Cinemassacre is insane. Though when writing plots for clown show sagas, what better entertainment for a farmer? This is why I will not brand James as a cow yet, but what would make him a cow is the company he keeps. Plus that boomer rock band that was based on the Big Rigs cut off character. He would of been better of making the Bugs Bunny Birthday Blowout scat porn video, probably would appeal to the sick fuck demographic that ScreenWave likes to capture. The clout chasing faggots...

Does this really count as plagarism? The images from Cat's article are from real world arcades/news articles and the info from it have been used in a ton of other articles/videos about Polybius.

I'm not saying James shouldn't have credited her, I'm just saying it's a stretch to call it "plagarism". James never said he made those pictures or discovered this info himself. He just said some generic factoids about Polybius and showed some pictures.

I dunno, I just think plagarism is a word people shouldn't toss around all willy nilly.

You win the thread, this is the funniest one liner.

Also: Cinemassacre panel @ TooManyGames 2021. James is late.
I randomly clicked on the time bar and got this glorious exchange. Paraphrasing a bit here.

Justin: "My favorite one to work on was Polybius, (some shit I couldn't make out) I had to like, stay out of the shot. (more shit I couldn't make out) behind the scenes video, you should all watch it"
James: "Oh really? I'll have to watch that"
Justin: "Wait you haven't watched it?"
