Not necessarily , calli/kiara got annoying because of how frequent it was and how genuinely obsessed kiara seemed. Gura and shion won't colab nearly as often, and gura won't over use it.

As for the french conversation, i'm not canadian but I know all my cousins dropped that the moment they could. One even burned his textbook on school grounds the minute after his last class, or so he says.

No one's forcing Gura/Shion. Shion is Gura's oshi and Shion is probably down for another friend. This is girls being girl friends even over a language barrier. It's cute.

Bait but I'll bite. One was already manufactured before they even debuted (the Kusatori line in Calli's song). Whereas Gura has long mentioned that she was a fan of Shion, even prior to joining Hololive. And Shion has similarly mentioned that she likes Gura a lot. Both of them have interactions going back nearly a year now.

So it's understandable that people are really excited that they finally got the collab that they were waiting nearly an entire year on. And it's also her first 1 on 1 collab with a JP member/senpai, which is arguably just as big of a deal if not greater.

You would be very wrong, I'm primarily an English speaker but I work in Quebec so I speak some french, I live near the Ontario Quebec boarder, pretty much you only hear french in New Brunswick and Quebec, but there are some predominantly French speaking places that are outliers, like there is a town called Embrum in Ontario outside of Ottawa that is primarily French but it's rare. Outside of these areas it's pretty well totally English.

Also if you ever get into an altercation with somebody who's French just say these magic words!

"Va chier tabarnak, suce ma grene!"

Did anyone who ordered merch through GeekJack actually get their shit? It's been months now and I haven't seen head nor hide of any of my orders.

What did you order and when? I think the Gura shirt I ordered during the early summer doesn't ship until sometime later this month or next month. And the Nendo doesn't ship until late next year.

If you know when it came on sale you can check their shipping status page (Not always accurate though). I got my HoloMyth 6 Month stuff a few weeks ago, but usually, it takes 4-6 months for stuff to actually ship out.
